Les meilleurs restaurants en Thonon-Les-Bains

19/10/2025: We came to Thonon-les-Bains for a 3-week spa treatment. We frequently had lunch in the Belle Époque and regularly stopped off at the end of the day. We enjoyed every moment at this establishment: the food, the welcome, the location, and the various thoughtful touches. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Don't hesitate to stop by.

11/09/2025: Excellent brasserie. I go there mainly for breakfast. The waiters and waitresses are always energetic and smiling! I recommend it!

18/11/2025: Excellent value for money. Set menu (starter, main course, dessert, and cheese) for €20! Delicious and generous portions of traditional, homemade cuisine! Simple but friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

16/11/2025: A very warm welcome. The menu is extensive and beautifully presented by the owner. We ordered couscous and were not disappointed. The semolina was fine and delicious, the meats were excellent, and the broth was flavorful. The "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts served with coffee) was very generous. We can't wait to return and try other dishes.

04/09/2025: I gave it 3 stars, but since I asked the owner to remove my profile picture, which she used on her Instagram account without my consent (image rights apply, my opinion remains public; anyone can use it). My opinion is basically more constructive... but hey... she probably didn't understand, she's still too young. It was better before... Before, it wasn't my friend's bar... The service is done at the bar. Negative things: The €10 cocktail was served in plastic "Heineken" glasses. I felt like I was at a festival, but without the glass deposit... I was really disappointed, knowing that in 2025, there are plastic cocktail glasses that are prettier and that cocktails deserve to be available. Same for the beers, but not for everyone... some had glass glasses, probably VIPs 😬. The wine was served in glass glasses too 🤔. Are there fewer breakages with those who drink wine? The charcuterie board at €18 for 2/3 people is a bit steep. Positive: Excellent guacamole and hummus too. Super friendly owners. Great atmosphere with two top-notch DJs 🔝 Ideal location away from the city center.

23/08/2025: Very cool food menu but didn’t get the chance this time. Not easy to find local Savoie microbrews at a bar around here, this is my fave in Thonon or nearby. Very cool deco as well. So so service. But hey, my kids annoy me too. Don’t need a server to remind me …

31/12/2025: Avoid at all costs! We hadn't been for a few years and were extremely disappointed! It was very expensive and very cold... In short, extremely disappointed...

19/09/2024: Très bon, tréééés sympathique, personnels tréééés agréables. Le restaurant est très agréable dans tout les sens du terme. Nous avons passé un bon dîner. Une bonne fondue savoyarde accompagnée de charcuterie.miam.

29/01/2026: Honestly, having two pizza chefs with sour faces who don't know how to say hello or goodbye, and even the Uber Eats delivery guy who came after me, they were rude to him too. It seems like everyone has this nonchalant attitude. Luckily, the delivery guy said goodbye and kindly helped me open the door.

05/01/2026: Passing through Thonon, we ate at this restaurant. Really disappointed: the burger was terrible, nothing special, and everything was frozen. The restrooms are in a deplorable state (no light for the sink, a small lever to activate it, but you have to be quite dexterous). Really so-so.

26/12/2025: It's always a pleasure to come and eat a good burger in this American sixties atmosphere, a must-try for those who don't know it!

26/01/2026: I got food poisoning and I've been suffering for three days with terrible stomach cramps. I'm not lying, I have better things to do. I've eaten there before, but this time it's awful, and expensive too.

30/12/2025: I stumbled upon this restaurant and wasn't disappointed. Excellent, efficient, friendly, and clean. Very good value for money. I recommend it and will definitely return.
