15/06/2026: This restaurant was discovered thanks to our Haute-Savoie Gourmet Passport. We had a great time! A nice little menu, perfect for weekday lunch, with fresh produce and homemade dishes. Good food at a reasonable price, and quick service. Excellent!

03/06/2026: Cold and unpleasant welcome, frozen fries, the waiter is violent and incompetent

03/09/2026: Don't go to this restaurant. The kitchen is filthy, the toilets are awful, and the place is old and unappealing. My Coke wasn't fresh at all, and the Perrier was overpriced at €3.40 – outrageous! I won't be going back to this brasserie.

18/08/2026: Unfortunately, the meat wasn't cooked properly: it was rubbery and unpleasant to eat due to the overcooking. The wait to be served was also very long. However, the sauce was very good.

27/08/2026: We stopped here after visiting Thonon market, attracted by the lovely location overlooking the lake. We were a family of four, including my 81-year-old mother, and simply wanted to sit down and have a drink. On arrival, a waitress asked my husband if we had a reservation. He said no and she showed us to a table. Another young waitress took our drinks order and was absolutely lovely, patiently helping us with our limited French and speaking some English. After our drinks arrived, the first waitress returned to take our food order. We explained that we only wanted drinks and immediately realised from her response that there had been a misunderstanding and the table was intended for people eating. We apologised sincerely and repeatedly and said that we would order cake/dessert as well. Unfortunately, the waitress's reaction made us feel extremely unwelcome. There was eye-rolling, huffing, abrupt handling of the menus and muttering in French that we couldn't understand. Even after we apologised and offered to order some dessers, her attitude continued. Eventually I said to my family that we should leave because I felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed. We left most of our drinks unfinished on the table and I went inside and paid for them in full. I completely understand a restaurant having a policy that its tables are for people eating. That isn't my criticism. There had simply been a misunderstanding, possibly made more difficult by our poor French. We recognised it, apologised and tried to put it right. What I don't understand is why an innocent mistake needed to be treated with such obvious irritation. We were a quiet family on holiday, not being rude or difficult, and there was absolutely no need to make us feel so unwelcome. It's particularly disappointing because the location is beautiful and the other young waitress who served us was delightful. Sadly, we left feeling embarrassed and unwelcome rather than having enjoyed what should have been a lovely drink overlooking Lake Geneva. Nous avions simplement mal compris la situation. Nous nous sommes sincèrement excusés et avons essayé de réparer notre erreur. Nous sommes vraiment désolés de ce malentendu.

12/09/2026: We dined there two nights in a row. Pleasant setting, welcoming staff. Excellent food at a reasonable price.

05/09/2026: A restaurant that doesn't accept holiday vouchers or restaurant cards is still taking advantage.

22/08/2026: A fantastic restaurant, both the food is excellent and the service is superb, I highly recommend it!!!!

16/08/2026: Even though we ate after lunchtime, you can expect better. Soggy salad, not worth the price. The lasagna not tasty at all
