21/05/2026: An excellent experience! My father and I had a wonderful time at Majestic Orchid. It was a real success. We ate very, very well! The dishes were delicious, generous, and prepared with care. The welcome and service were equally impeccable, with an attentive and smiling team that immediately put us at ease. The atmosphere is perfect for sharing a good meal with family. I highly recommend this place; we will definitely be back!

31/07/2026: Great place for lunch! We went there for lunch and had a lovely meal. The service was very friendly and the prices are quite reasonable. The menu is varied, so everyone can easily find something they like. I had a pizza, and the crust was nice and soft, just the way we like it. My boyfriend had a burger, and it was excellent: you can tell it's homemade, and it was delicious. A great place with fantastic value for money; we'll definitely be back!

28/07/2026: We've been eating at this restaurant since we were little. The service is impeccable and the food is simply legendary. I've never found that unique taste of Gab's burger anywhere else. I'll be back again next year!

26/07/2026: This ideally located establishment is renowned as a favorite spot, even a veritable "canteen," for many seniors in La Grande Motte. We frequent it regularly, summer and winter, and it's always a pleasure to meet there.

16/06/2026: I came with my family; the restaurant was almost empty, yet we waited a full hour before our order was taken, and then another hour to be served. I won't be going back. We arrived at 12:30 PM and left at 4:30 PM.

09/06/2026: Declining Service and Declining Quality It is with great regret that we are removing our previous positive review to update our current experience. As regulars at Le Chary restaurant, where we spent almost all of last summer as well as the off-season, our most recent visit was unfortunately very disappointing. The service has declined dramatically, to the point where we wonder how the recruitment process was handled. The two waitresses completely lacked professionalism. One of them was dressed in a vulgar manner, and both let customers become impatient before finally serving them with an extremely nonchalant attitude. We saw several people sit down and then leave for another terrace, tired of waiting for attention. The same was true for a large table of about fifteen people who had to wait 20 minutes before a customer flagged down a waitress so they could finally be seated. For our part, the waitress was unpleasant and pushy. After having a drink, we wanted to eat. As for the food, we ordered our usual mussels. While the price increase wasn't a problem, the quality was definitely not the same. The mussels with Roquefort sauce were absolutely disappointing: the sauce was practically nonexistent, as if a cheap piece of cheese had just been thrown in hastily during reheating. To get any flavor at all, we had to ask for extra sauce (which we chose garlic cream, as the mussels with garlic cream we ordered separately were fine). Finally, the meal was ruined by an inappropriate haste: while we were eating, we were asked three times if we had finished so they could clear the table. If the waitresses put as much enthusiasm into welcoming and serving customers as they do into rushing them out, the experience would have been much better. While we used to warmly recommend this establishment and send friends, acquaintances, and people we met there, we will now definitely no longer advertise this restaurant. It's a real shame. The restrooms, although not particularly attractive, were at least usually clean. This time, it was simply shameful: they were filthy from the very start of service.

14/07/2026: I went there by chance, and I thought I'd stepped back into 1970. When I went to the bathroom, I thought I was back in 1960. Charging 4 euros for a half-pint of beer in that place is a complete rip-off.

23/06/2026: I was the one the waitress asked to wait 20 minutes, which I did, but I came back with a terrible sunburn. I sat down, but after 20 minutes without even receiving a menu, I went home to Palavas, quite disappointed. **************** Thank you for your feedback; I'm starting to forget about it. I'm changing my rating to 5 stars.

20/06/2026: We had dinner there yesterday and it really wasn't great. We didn't feel welcome; no one was very friendly, and the waitress was inexperienced and not very helpful. The meat wasn't bad, but the fries were undercooked, and the salmon tartare was awful (with vinaigrette). This restaurant doesn't reflect the quiet and pleasant atmosphere of this part of La Grande Motte; it's more like a roadside diner.

15/06/2026: Unfortunately, we were perhaps unlucky yesterday, Sunday, as the terrace was full and there were only two waitresses. Our table seemed to have been forgotten; we waited an hour to order, and then there was another long wait between courses. Furthermore, after asking three times for ice, we received none. We also do not recommend the monkfish with potatoes and fries; it was far too heavy, and the piece of fish was mostly bones and spines. Given our dissatisfaction, we were offered free coffee.

20/03/2026: Fantastic welcome, very pleasant and helpful staff, excellent food and a delicious tiramisu. A place to remember, we'll be back.
