The setting was nice, the staff were also friendly, but just be careful because the service is not professional, it's almost as if they snatch your plate from your hands before you've even finished it... or ask you to send the next course before you've even finished the starter.

05/03/2026: Excellent restaurant! The tartiflette was absolutely delicious, and the crêpe had fresh mushrooms! We can confirm that everything is homemade (a nice touch for the gluten-free options).
We paid €68 for three courses, two alcoholic drinks, two coffees, and one dessert, which is very reasonable for a tourist area.
03/03/2026: A very warm welcome, very good food, and a Harry Potter-themed room upstairs – perfect for Potterhead fans.

23/12/2025: A wonderful family lunch break at this typical St. Guillhem establishment. A warm welcome, beautifully presented dishes, and a very friendly atmosphere. Remember to book ahead, as portions are limited.
14/12/2025: I was pleasantly surprised by this little restaurant with its decor so typical of the old buildings in the Cévennes. The menu is straight out of classic French cuisine and it doesn't disappoint! The starters are hearty and delicious, especially the ravioli, which I personally loved. The main courses were good and generous; we always needed more bread to mop up every last bit of sauce! Outside of peak season, REMEMBER TO BOOK – it's absolutely essential. The kitchen prepares a certain number of dishes based on reservations, and you might find yourself missing quite a few items on the menu.

For couples, I highly recommend the table for two facing the pool (I can't remember its name).

19/11/2025: Simple but tasty food at fair prices. Friendly service and, most importantly, still open in November while other restaurants have already closed. Recommended for a lunch stop.
02/11/2025: After hiking the Sentier des Fenestretes (Cirque d'Infernet), the croque-madame followed by a crêpe for dessert was excellent. Eating under the plane tree was also very pleasant.

23/02/2026: It was very busy this Sunday lunchtime, but a table did become available. After ordering, we waited over an hour for three courses (grilled meats and a stew)... While the grilled sausage was tasty despite the small portion, I was extremely disappointed with the "homemade" bull stew, which was completely tasteless. The dish had no flavor whatsoever: the meat was swimming in an overly watery sauce with absolutely no flavor. In short, if this dish is truly "homemade," the recipe needs to be revised immediately!
11/02/2026: The tavern-hotel restaurant is nice, with a varied menu (crepes, which seem to be their specialty, pizzas, meat dishes, etc.). We had a tartiflette, and it was quite good. The traditional sausages are excellent.
Rustic but pleasant decor.

We appreciated this quiet place, sheltered from the general public. Barbara accompanied us very well during our meal. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism.
I recommend this restaurant and we will not fail to come back to taste other dishes on your menu.
The presence of cats gives this restaurant an atypical side.

During the summer, it is rare to find a restaurant that is as good as it is accessible.

03/04/2024: Glacier au cœur du village, avec un accueil d'une gamelle pour toutou, très important quand il fait chaud et surtout un glacier très accueillant.
