26/05/2024: HORRIBLE TO ESCAPE!!! Dark place, dirty covered, there were no people and we understand why! She forced us to order as many dishes as there were people there! I wanted to leave and she ran after us to tell us that we had to pay a portion even if we didn't consume anything because we had a reservation! (As if there was no place...) very unpleasant person

04/04/2024: Nous avons mangé le Nosi Goreng Super bon et bien servi pas épicé Pour ma femme et épicé pour moi impeccable nos sommes répartis rassasié et n'avons rien mangé d'autre nous étions pressé mais la prochaine fois nous essayerons un repas complet pour voir .

16/06/2024: The waiter is super nice but the lady at the cash register is as nice as a prison door. Say hello twice with no response, but there are a lot of people there. I don't recommend.

20/09/2024: Il existe encore des gens très pro. Que ce soit l’accueil, la cuisine , la vue etc…, tout y est. Rare sur un site touristique où le client a le droit d’être bien accueilli, servi. Si j’avais une note à mettre je mettrais 20/20

04/09/2024: We were privileged to have entertainment for dinner. Service level and atmosphere are top notch, the food was super. This really made our evening in Sete memorable.

29/08/2024: We weren't happy with the food. Fries not fresh, too few and sometimes over fried. There were two fish (fish and chips). frozen stics. Way too expensive for the food! It's a shame for us :-(

13/09/2024: Avoid this place. Today after a long wait we were eventually asked if we’d like a drink, but had to ask for glasses for the water. (Which weren’t particularly clean) Then someone asked for our food order, but treated us like an inconvenience. Another long wait then 3 of the starters were served, while politely waiting for the 4th, the food was taken away and we were told it wasn’t ours, and we had to reorder as they had lost ours! Another wait and the starters came, following another wait the mains came, but one of our party had to ask for his dish to be completed as there were missing items. The vegetables on another two dishes consisted of a whole tomato sat in the sauce! The desert’s weren’t great, just squirty cream to cover what was described as a panda cotta…… When the bill came we questioned the poor service only to have to explain our experience. Their response was “ok, we’ll knock 8Euros of the bill”…we left as we couldn’t be bothered to argue our point. It’s a tourist trap that doesn’t give a damn!

09/09/2024: Great food and service, i see that people don't like it but the only thing I find not great is the fact that the first row tables can feel the fumes from the road, on the other side you get a great view of the canal and the boats.

11/07/2024: Very bad meal with a very strong vinaigrette flavor and poor preparation and a lot of frozen....

10/10/2023: A thoroughly unpleasant experience. Dirty place, uninterested young staff, no service - quite literally, so after waiting half an hour at a filthy table for someone to take our order I tried speaking to a young waiter. He immediately made the excuse that his collègue would serve us. No one appeared, yet later we saw this same young lad taking an order from a table which had just arrived,. My wife and I got up and walked out. You've been warned.

09/10/2023: The two behind the counter are friendly, the barman does a good job, although he probably lacks proper cocktail glasses. But the woman with the baseball cap in the service was really bad. Apparently only interested in service from friends.

08/09/2024: We had a superb meal at this restaurant. Since the reviews are mixed, it may be helpful to say what we ate, which was octopus carpaccio followed by octopus risotto. The carpaccio was light and delicate, and absolutely delicious. The risotto was equally delicious, but substantial and filling. You might find one portion between two enough. Two carpaccios followed by a risotto makes a sensational meal, and is not expensive. Service was excellent – prompt, friendly and efficient.

20/08/2024: Notre erreur a été regardé les avis précédents , nous avions une grosse envie de poulpe et nous avons cherché dans l'assiette les quelques petits morceaux de poulpe, 2 pomme de terre, et l'assiette pas remplie... Très déçus ! Les photos du site ne reflètent pas ce qu'il y a dans notre assiette. Une sétoise

24/09/2024: A restaurant to forget. Attractive price at €25 for lunch on a weekday and once seated, the scam begins with an aperitif offer without menu or price. A plate of shucks with 2 very small No. 4 oysters, 2 shrimps and 2 whelks. A fillet of sea bream without flavor and very small and a mediocre dessert... An addition with the sangria at €10 a glass!!! Toilets, a dirty and very dilapidated restaurant room. Phew, I didn't go into the kitchen. A service bordering on accommodation with the tourists that we are. There are much better restaurants in Sète for the same price. A tourist trap.

20/08/2024: Service assez long, nous avons pris le menu à 28 e, très cher pour ce que nous avons mangé. L'assiette du pécheur nageait dans la sauce. Assiette dégustation en entrée fraîche. Le service est à revoir, nous avons attendus avant d'être servis alors que la table d'à côté a été servie avant nous alors qu'ils sont arrivés après. Pas de savon dans les toilettes , d'ailleurs un monsieur en a fait la remarque.

18/08/2024: We stopped by chance, attracted by the menu and nothing disappointed us. The terrace was packed. Despite this, we found an accessible table for my chair. The meal was excellent (the sea bream perhaps a little overcooked and the tatin is not homemade but very good), the waiters were smiling, pleasant and quick. In short, a pleasant and delicious moment. THANKS

25/04/2024: Un bel endroit, joli cadre...mais pas suffisamment bien exploité hélas... Le repas est moyen (pâtes trop cuites, sèches un peu fade mais le dessert est bon dessert...) Heureusement que Daniel, le guitariste-chanteur est là pour nous faire passer une belle soirée : Brassens évidemment mais aussi Boby Lapointe, Barbara, Trenet...un bon petit florilège de la chanson française!

03/09/2024: Nous avions l'habitude de déjeuner dans cette brasserie et c'était plutôt correct... Cette fois-ci une catastrophe....on demande un tartare de bœuf on nous amène un steak haché semelle...l'escalope milanaise réchauffée....sauce tomate visiblement panzani.....accueil mitigé.... Nous ne reviendrons pas et nous sommes d'ici....
