29/09/2026: Superb view, fantastic welcome, top-notch waitresses and waiters, and the food was a delight. My partner and I went back three times in a row. We went in September and are going back again this Friday. And when a restaurant's restrooms are clean, the kitchen is impeccable; you can eat there without worry. In fact, the third time we went back for lunch, the waitress recognized us and offered us two Kir and blackcurrant liqueurs for our aperitif. Yes, that made us happy!

28/09/2026: To put it simply… the food was decent, and the service was "French-style," so you have to be nice to the waiters. We still had a good time, though. The rosé was chilled, the sun was warm, there was a lovely terrace, and we weren't in a hurry.

30/08/2026: An Enchanting Stopover at L'Olivier 🫒 ⚓✨ L'Olivier is one of those rare places by the canal where time seems to stand still. The atmosphere is immediately gentle, vibrant, and deeply welcoming. It's a true haven of sharing and conviviality: the notes of local musicians drift through the air, while your gaze rests on the walls displaying paintings, photos, sculptures, and more by local artists. We love to wander with our eyes, listen, and even buy a piece of art to take a little bit of this magic home with us. On the plate, indulgence awaits with honest, entirely homemade cuisine. 🎣The Fisherman's Platter🎣 is a magnificent seafood treasure, and the 🍤grilled prawns🍤 are a pure delight, plump and fragrant. Absolutely loved the traditional ✨mussels à la sétoise🐳, so flavorful and authentic. And the 🐟fish and chips🐟, with its golden, crispy batter, is pure comfort food. Here, you come to slow down and savor the moment, the music, and the art. A friendly and authentic spot in Sète, where you simply feel good and leave with a light heart. Looking forward to the next open-air concert 🎸🎻🎶.

26/08/2026: A cold welcome on top of the not-so-warm outside temperature. We're still looking for the 4-star rating in the reviews. To begin with, we were asked if we wanted to eat on the terrace facing the canal or on the regular terrace. Then, in the end, there was no choice. Because the tables set weren't the ones facing the canal, and they didn't want to set them for the arriving customers. Then, an unfriendly waitress who criticized customers as they left and spent her time complaining. The peach syrup is a challenge; try to find the peach in your glass. The starter was mediocre, €8 for half a plate. The charcuterie platter came from a Super U supermarket tray. Not worthy of an "Italian" restaurant. The goat cheese platter was good, but there was only one goat cheese croquette. The main courses were also mixed. The pasta carbonara wasn't carbonara. Just pasta with cream (very little) and bacon bits straight from a tray, barely cooked. Luckily, there was salt and pepper on the table to season it. It was better than it had been straight from the kitchen. And we were glad we had some because the table next to us didn't and asked for ours. The second course wasn't any better. Goat cheese and speck ham cannelloni. Without speck. Three tiny pieces of ham with fat practically fighting each other and tasteless goat cheese. You mostly taste the accompanying tomato sauce. It was also unpleasant to have our plates taken away as soon as we finished. A little more and they would have taken it away before we could even take the last bites. Philippe Etchebest should come and give cooking and service lessons. Because seeing the waiters and cooks go outside to smoke in front of you during service should not be acceptable. Nor a waitress who was unpleasant and turned away customers, practically shoving them from their tables. Even though there were still seats available and it was only 12:30 PM. Luckily, a waiter in a pink polo shirt raised the bar and the bill.

25/08/2026: Excellent little restaurant. Passing through for the holidays, the macaronade was fantastic. The service was also excellent. We'll be back.

24/09/2026: Surely one of the best restaurants in Sète – the value for money, the quality of the ingredients, the menu choices, the welcome and the service – it truly is an exceptional restaurant. There were five of us and we all agreed: go!

16/09/2026: My partner and I went to eat at this restaurant. We received our appetizers before our drinks. For our main course, we ordered a prawn risotto, which was actually just creamy rice with bits of raw vegetables and two prawns that were barely hanging on. I find that shameful for €30 a dish.

22/08/2026: Our favorite bakery in the neighborhood (three nearby) for the quality of the bread and pastries, but especially for the incredible kindness and warmth of the welcome!

16/09/2026: Like many previous reviews, the service was disastrous. We had to wait for our food while tables that arrived later were served first. The waitress even brought us the wrong table for our mussels, so we ate cold ones. Tip: Don't stop here.

09/09/2026: Restaurant right on the water, next to the boats and seagulls. Friendly and attentive service from the waiters. The food was good and reasonably priced, we paid just over €20 per person. The product (fish and shellfish) seemed to us to be of good quality.

26/08/2026: We had two beers, a Heineken and a Leffe. €11, and they were bottled beers!! Honestly, the price is outrageous.

26/08/2026: The welcome was friendly. The food was good, but the portions were insufficient. My husband and I ordered two different dishes and were still hungry at the end of our meal. The portions were more like a children's menu. What a shame!
