17/08/2026: Our first evening in Sète and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was good and the price was reasonable.

12/08/2026: I came to this establishment with my mother, who wears a headscarf. Upon arrival, I saw the manager look at us and then gesture from a distance, indicating "no coffee." He then walked directly towards us, without offering a menu or asking what we wanted, stating that the establishment didn't serve drinks at that time and only offered food. I simply replied, "Who said we didn't want to eat?" Faced with this particularly disrespectful reception, I pointed out that we could have been treated differently. He then clearly asked me to leave. I can't say for sure what motivated his behavior, but the fact that it happened immediately after he saw my mother wearing a headscarf left me with a profound sense of humiliation and discrimination. It's regrettable, especially when you're simply there to spend time with your family. Good reviews of an establishment should not make us forget that an experience can be very different from one customer to another.

03/08/2026: The agency is very welcoming and friendly. The residence is very convenient for going to the beach. The accommodation is perfect for a small family, and the studio was very clean. We spend our summer holidays here every year. I highly recommend it.

23/07/2026: At first glance, the agency seems quite pleasant, but don't worry about them. I lived in an unsanitary apartment for several months. It took several months and a few threats to escalate the issue before they finally carried out the repairs. They were only done after I'd left, following an absolutely freezing winter. They also try to charge exorbitant cleaning fees without providing an invoice or estimate, so be careful. It's essential to know your rights before moving in! Edit: Thank you for taking the time to reply, although unfortunately, most of it is just lies.

12/10/2026: Excellent food and very good service

27/09/2026: Avoid at all costs! We were comfortably seated on the terrace by a very friendly waitress when suddenly the owner started insulting two elderly people at the next table. He was rude and threatening towards the women several times. He also verbally abused two of his servers in front of all the other customers. Feeling very uncomfortable and outraged by this scene, we left as quickly as we had arrived…

08/09/2026: The welcome was incredibly unpleasant and the service equally disappointing; the large chocolate was the size of an espresso. We should have left when the waitress sighed as we asked for the menu.

02/09/2026: The staff weren't very friendly, and we asked for a carafe of water, but they didn't provide one; we just got a small, half-filled glass, even though we ordered beer and fruit juice. A shame.

08/09/2026: This is a far cry from the old Social du Quartier Haut. The name remains the same, but neither the atmosphere nor the food has. As for the value for money, it's a disgrace!

29/08/2026: And to think this was my favorite place in Sète for years… but I was lucky never to have run into the owner, who is incredibly rude… you just want to tell him to find another line of work! The food has gone downhill too, while the prices have skyrocketed… in short, I won't be going back. It's a shame to ruin such a great place.

11/10/2026: Avoid this place... 2 out of 4 glasses were dirty. We left without eating after a 1-hour wait. Two other tables also left without eating. Unfriendly servers.

10/10/2026: Run away! Unpleasant service, rude and rude. A 1.5-hour wait for frozen razor clams and a frozen cuttlefish! And yet the sea isn't far away. Serving 24 people without serving a single one for over an hour—quite an achievement! I still feel sorry for the woman who was told countless times, "It'll be here in 5 minutes" (which turned into a total of 1.5 hours). In short, avoid it.

30/01/2026: The food (croque monsieur and panini) wasn't fresh (you could tell just by looking at it, and then your stomach would tell you the same thing), and the cashier couldn't even print the receipt. He asked me to wait "while he saw what he could do," then ignored me, hoping I'd leave. Which I did. Oh yes, one last problem: I ordered a chocolate éclair and got a coffee one. I went in trusting the overall rating, and I regret it. Incomprehensible.

27/01/2026: Excellent bakery, I highly recommend it. The products are always fresh, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

04/10/2026: The mussels were not fresh; we left feeling nauseous!

26/08/2026: The welcome was friendly. The food was good, but the portions were insufficient. My husband and I ordered two different dishes and were still hungry at the end of our meal. The portions were more like a children's menu. What a shame!

19/08/2026: Avoid this taco! It has two pieces of meat and is filled with a huge amount of squashed fries to give the illusion of a small amount of meat... disappointed. I'd rather make my own dough with butter than anything else.

12/08/2026: While visiting the beautiful city of Sète, we found the saleswoman at this bakery very pleasant and all the pastries we bought were of high quality. Highly recommended.

04/10/2026: What a shame, they used to make perfectly decent paninis, but this is a disaster. They've used a smaller roll, and they really should clean the griddle if they're going to heat chicken on it. I had black lumps in my mouth and I could only eat the nuggets from my order. It's a shame, it was convenient to be able to order here, but paying for something that's going to make me sick? No thanks.

01/10/2026: Passing through Sète, the little American takeaway was fantastic, and the service was excellent too, keep it up!!

26/07/2026: Very good. Breads, cakes, etc., can be stored for a short time.

21/07/2026: The bread was stale twice; the pistachio French toast probably lost its pistachios on the shelf (apart from the few crushed pistachios on top); the brioche was dry and completely tasteless.
