07/12/2023: Zero quality/price. Too bad the place is nice but the "cuisine" to avoid... The reheated croques monsieur (maybe from the day before that wouldn't have surprised me given the taste of the ham) and cheese not even a little under the grill... I couldn't finish my plate.

20/07/2024: Dinner with colleagues. I didn't like the Caesar salad that was served to me. The chicken pieces were really very dry. On the other hand, my colleagues were won over by their dish.

13/11/2024: Bar - restaurant with trendy bistronomic cuisine. Everything is homemade and a good thing, the tastes are there even if there is a risk of finding it a little too spicy. Personally, I love it! An efficient and pleasant service!

13/10/2024: A bar restaurant that seems a little cramped and ordinary but you can find good food, friendly and efficient service. Prices are correct. Small terrace on the street and rooms on two levels.

03/09/2024: We had a great time at L’Étale d’Edgard. The service was superb, with an attentive and friendly team. However, when it came to the matured meat dishes, although the price suggested exceptional quality, I was slightly disappointed. The meat was okay, but I was expecting something truly remarkable for this price point. Overall a good experience, but maybe the meat isn't entirely worth the cost.

08/08/2024: The dishes are good. The manager, waiter and cook is super friendly. Although he has many hats, he takes the time to chat. We didn't wait too long. This is the kind of little restaurant that we can only recommend!

06/09/2024: A classic Subway with friendly staff...on site. Delivered on 10/10/22, a sub30 the width of a milk roll. The sub30 menu is expensive with a sandwich barely more filling than a sub15... If these are the new sizes, goodbye Subway. Same on 6/9/24, as flat as a McDonald's sandwich with almost nothing inside. Please note that reductions are made on prices AND on the quantity of food!

17/08/2024: Easy booking online. Welcomed upon arrival. Nice, clean and modern. All staff were friendly, helpful and patient throughout. Food delicious. Really pleasant after a 6 hour drive!!

25/08/2024: Unfortunately completely disappointed with the hotel. It was visited as part of a bus trip, so we didn't choose it ourselves, otherwise we certainly wouldn't have stayed there overnight. The hotel is located far outside surrounded by ruins. The rooms were dirty, others weren't even made ready. A very unpleasant smell in the rooms. Broken curtains and mattresses. The bathroom was a complete disaster. Extremely narrow, old and above all unclean. That doesn't work in the bathroom at all. With blue light you could still see what the predecessor had left behind. We were lucky enough to have a desk and therefore a little more space; others, as written in some previous reviews, couldn't even unpack their suitcases. There wasn't really a closet, just a shelf, which we had to clean first. We were really considering moving to a nearby B&B. The next day nothing was done in the room, neither the beds, nor the cleaning, nor the trash emptied. Only when asked was the trash can emptied the next day and the towels changed. But nothing else. Lack of staff or not, and taking into account various standards abroad, none of this is acceptable. Especially when it comes to hygiene! Breakfast wasn't really good either, baked baguettes with some sausage and cheese. Only the croissants were ok. As part of the trip we had half board, i.e. dinner. A la carte might be better, but what we got was nothing. Goulash with pasta, meat with rice are really not a showcase for the otherwise highly praised French cuisine. Here, too, our expectations were NOT a 3-star menu, but down-to-earth good would have been nice. There were no vegetables or fruit for the entire 5 days. There were no alternatives for vegetarians or even an overview of the ingredients of the dishes. Unfortunately, many people today have to know what they eat due to allergies and intolerances. Staff overall not very friendly either. Drink prices are completely exorbitant. No response to complaints about fermented wine. In general we had a feeling of arrogance and haughtiness. Unfortunately I have to write it so clearly! We would give the hotel a wide berth next time.

02/08/2024: Copy of email sent to general management I am contacting you regarding the inappropriate behavior of the manager of this hotel. My wife and I arrived at 4 a.m. Wednesday July 30, 2024. We were greeted by the night watchman (after calling him on his cell phone, phone number being written on the door). He was personable, pleasant and efficient. He told us the price of the room was 45 EUR, then gave us room 104. I wanted to pay for the room and give him my credit card and my ID, he told me that we could do that tomorrow at check out. I took the opportunity to ask for the check out times, he told me 12 p.m. and that if I ever lingered a little, he wouldn't hold it against me. He wrote my name on a post it with the rate and room number. I asked him if the motorbike parked on the side near the entrance wasn't in the way, he told me it wasn't a problem. I went to bed, it was 4 a.m. When I woke up around 9:30 a.m. I went to reception and a lady introducing herself as the manager welcomed me. I had 3 problems: The post it with the price has disappeared. I was asked for 55 eur instead of 45 eur, you will tell me it is only 10 eur difference but I insist on the principle... She called me a liar and refused to contact the night watchman to ask him the question. She took the opportunity to say: “It’s always the problems with you”. This is the first time I have set foot in this hotel and in the region. I dare to hope that this remark has nothing to do with any remark about my origins.. She immediately said that check out is at 11 a.m., I told her that I was planning to leave well before but that the bellman told me it was 12 p.m. She then reproached me for having parked along the hedge near the front door even though I had asked for permission, that the vehicle did not obstruct access in any way and that it was for a safety issue. (camera in front of reception). The director called me a liar on several occasions for these 3 points... I finally paid the 45 EUR with totally inappropriate remarks. I had to move the vehicle. I had to leave the room early even though it was planned... I called back the night watchman who confirmed the 3 points stated above and who fully assumes his instructions and does not understand the actions of this lady. Apparently this isn't the first time... I am appealing to you to find out if the general management intends to do something about this. Sincerely. So I pass on the dilapidation of the room, the separate beds, the cleaning ladies who speak out loud at 8:30 in the morning...

02/06/2024: Excellent brunch spot with Canadian style! The dishes are original, tasty and generous with a special mention for the Waffalafel and the Brioche discovered 🤤🤤🤤

30/05/2024: It’s a very cute shop. It’s small and neat. There was no one there when I went there on a Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere is great. The scones are also delicious. However, you will feel a bit sour in your mouth after eating it. Everything else is great and we like it very much. Lemon cheesecake!

28/08/2024: Parfait, les meilleurs sushis que l’on ai pu manger, vraiment très bon, pour avoir mangé des sushis je peux vous dire que ceux la sont exceptionnels, sans oublier leurs brochettes.. la soupe miso.. la salade de choux.. juste INCROYABLE 👌🏽 Sans oublier le site qui est d’une praticité..phénoménal ! gros coeur sur les propriétaires !

10/08/2024: As a loyal customer for several years, I have noticed a decline in the quality of your sushi (I still recommend trying the ravioli and tempura shrimp). To my great disappointment, during my last delivery order, the sushi arrived lukewarm. Additionally, we had doubts about the freshness of the salmon. Rice used to be cooked well, but now it is dry and not as good. I really hope that you will find the quality of before…

07/11/2024: très bon endroit pour un repas de copains.Le petit menu du jour est très bien avec des plats simple, ils savent leur donner du relief, bons produits frais en bonne quantité.bon service bon acceuil.St Nicolas de bourgeuil très bon mais à 29,50 euros la bouteille.

10/07/2024: Small (large) neighborhood cafe which is pleasant and clean. The drinks are good and the prices reasonable.

10/09/2024: I had a lunch: a que unira salad with chickpeas and various vegetables, fruits and feta. Not good. The que unira is soft, everything was soft mixed in a pool of flavorless oil…. The bread is identical to that of a defrosted supermarket. It’s expensive so very poor value for money. Otherwise the space is nice to have a quick coffee.
