18/11/2025: It's a very honest bar; all the beers are €6 maximum, and the selection is really great. The servers are friendly, and the atmosphere is good. It's less "cattle-group" than the Copains d'Abord next door; the two bars complement each other well.

17/11/2025: I'm giving it 5 stars to avoid lowering the overall rating and because it's very good and inexpensive. However, the stools and benches inside are really uncomfortable.

17/03/2026: Very good tacos, the tenders are good, a little lacking in crispness but still excellent, I recommend all Grenoble residents go there.

31/01/2026: It's good and hearty, with lots of flavor. The couscous was good, but I was surprised by all the vegetables in the tagine, which was a bit of a disappointment. The restaurant is clean, the decor is simple, and the service is friendly.

21/02/2026: We had a very good experience at Auberge Napoléon. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the cuisine was original and of high quality. Vegetarian and vegan dishes were also available on the menu.

09/03/2026: The food was decent, but nothing special, especially considering the price. The decor is very basic, the dining room is noisy, and they used the same cutlery for both the appetizer and the main course... The foie gras lacked finesse, and the lamb shank had a very strong flavor; it almost felt like we were in a barn 😅. We did, however, appreciate the potato crisp, which was a nice touch. To make matters worse, our main courses took almost 45 minutes to arrive, while other tables (who had arrived after us) were already having dessert. The staff apologized, but then came back to ask us again what desserts we had ordered (which themselves took a while to arrive; we were the last ones in the restaurant). And there was no gesture of goodwill when it came time to pay. In short, this might be acceptable for a brasserie, but not for a "gastronomic restaurant" as advertised on their Instagram account. We won't be back...

04/03/2026: A very pleasant restaurant with a lovely setting and superbly prepared and delicious dishes. Special mention for the octopus, which brought back memories of holidays.

15/02/2026: Honestly, at 7:01 PM, there was no meal at the buffet; we were told to wait. They didn't even show us to a table or offer us one—just said, "Go ahead and sit wherever you want!" Then they didn't even offer us an aperitif or anything to drink. It was only 15 minutes after our main course was served that the woman came and asked us what we wanted to drink! The main course wasn't great, no choice, just a mass-produced fruit salad and six bananas that were practically nonexistent... In short, everything was served sparingly! Shameful! And to top it all off, when we were leaving, they didn't even offer us coffee or tea, and when it came time to pay, they wouldn't accept my restaurant card. I should mention that I had made a reservation... In short, I won't be going back.

31/01/2026: An Italian gem! The welcome is exceptionally warm; you immediately feel right at home 😍 The food is flawless! The octopus salad was incredibly fresh, followed by perfectly creamy linguine with gorgonzola. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. Special mention for the profiterole for dessert—a pure delight, the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. I highly recommend it!

11/03/2026: Horrible! I ordered 6 tacos on Deliveroo and only received 3 out of 6. I'm disappointed. I couldn't even get a refund; my brothers didn't even get to eat.

02/03/2026: I went to this kebab shop because, according to locals, it's a Grenoble institution. I found the set menu very expensive at €10.50. For that price, I ordered a small bottle of Coke, but I was rather curtly told to put it back because it wasn't included in the set menu. A very classic kebab... a tiny tray of barely cooked, unsalted fries... a very thin and brittle bread, but the meat was good. I'm not sure I'll go back, but it did the trick for a Sunday evening.

02/11/2025: I ordered a duck with pineapple dish on Uber Eats. It was simply inedible; there was almost more fat than meat. The duck skin wasn't cooked, neither were the vegetables, and the canned pineapple was as hard as concrete. Truly poor quality for a €15 dish, especially without rice! The delivery was fast, 7 minutes, but it arrived with the lid open. Half the sauce was still in the bag! I doubt the freshness of the ingredients with such a quick delivery.

29/01/2026: Favourite Italian restaurant of ours in Grenoble for 20+ years. Food is great: best octopus salad in Grenoble, wood-fired pizzas are always a winner, and the daily lunch specials are always copious and tasty. And the tiramisu... never fails. Staff are always friendly in a family-restaurant fashion, Roseanne never fails to remember us, even when making a phone booking (ok, my accent isn't perfect!!!). In short, never fails us. Thoroughly recommended.

20/12/2025: Homemade food prepared with fresh ingredients. The wine is delicious and the tiramisu is a must-try. I find the pizzas a bit too small, especially for the price (around €15 per pizza). The service is excellent and the atmosphere is very welcoming.
