25/03/2026: A charming gem not to be missed in Grenoble! The atmosphere is incredibly intimate, thanks to a consistently welcoming team. A huge thank you to Lyne, who works wonders in the kitchen with her always-homemade dishes, and to Flo at the bar, who offers expert wine recommendations, divine cocktails, and delicious homemade pastries. The setting is magnificent, with a very warm decor and a fantastic terrace overlooking the square. It's the authentic place you absolutely must visit. I love it.

29/06/2026: A warm and friendly welcome from a team of equally friendly women. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The south-facing terrace can be shaded, making it a perfect spot for sunbathers or those seeking a bit of respite from the heat. The nearby shops, such as the bakery next door and the Intermarché supermarket, make it a natural meeting place for regulars and newcomers alike, all seeking a friendly atmosphere. The numerous activities and events offered each month further solidify its place among the city's cooperative businesses and cultural hubs. One minor complaint: they don't have melon syrup...

24/05/2026: I went there for lunch with colleagues. We had a wonderful time. Everything is fresh, homemade, and delicious, from the salads to the desserts. The staff is friendly and efficient. And the best part? The prices are very reasonable. You should definitely go, but remember to book ahead... as is often the case, the restaurant is a victim of its own success.

03/05/2026: The sushi looked like it had been made the day before; the rice had completely hardened. Disappointed, I was really craving good sushi.

10/08/2026: We came on Saturday evening for a drink on the terrace, and once again we weren't disappointed! A very warm welcome, helpful advice, and excellent wines. The waiters and waitresses are absolutely lovely, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I had already been once before and really enjoyed it. A place I highly recommend and where I will gladly return!

08/08/2026: The setting is very nice, but the service is really mediocre. The setting and atmosphere are good, and the bar is well located. The service was terrible: the wine glasses weren't changed between drinks (even though we weren't ordering the same wines!). During the service, the wine dripped down the side of the glass, onto the table, and even onto the floor (it happens, but it's nice to clean up!). And we had to ask three times for bread to go with the tapas and other cheese spreads (which were very good, by the way!), and the bread never arrived. (Note: there weren't many customers, so they weren't overwhelmed.) So, as far as the service is concerned, I really don't recommend it.

05/06/2026: I discovered this place by chance and I think it's really lovely. I like the decor, the current art exhibition (I love it when art is given pride of place). So far, I've enjoyed what I've been served. The cappuccino was a generous portion. So no, I'm not expecting three-star cuisine in this kind of place, but it's a cozy and calm space with delicious and comforting food. For me, it's worth it.

15/07/2026: Ordered from The Rooster through Uber Eats. The food was prepared quickly and the burgers arrived still slightly warm. We tried the Pulled Pork and the Patriot: the Pulled Pork was good but a bit on the salty side, while the Patriot was slightly underseasoned. Both burgers were generously portioned and clearly made with quality ingredients. The bun, however, was a bit too dry.
