15/08/2024: I can't give more than 5 stars and it's a shame because this establishment is a marvel. A little corner of paradise. Not only is the location perfect, 10 minutes by car from the center of Villard de Lans, with a quiet view of the mountains, but the hostel is superb, the setting is idyllic, a play area for children (with 2 hyperactive children it helps a lot), a magnificent terrace. That alone would justify 5 stars, no, the owners are not satisfied with that and welcome you with magical kindness and benevolence and delicious dishes to die for, we took the half-board formula for 24€ with starter, main course , dessert such a treat from start to finish at this price, suffice to say that you won't find better anywhere else and the breakfast buffet with excellent coffee, delicious jams, chocolate French toast (which reminded me of good coupetade) It was really perfect. Concerning the studio, it was impeccable, a dream of charm with a view of the mountain and the cleaning was carried out with great care which was really pleasant. Only one detail saddened us... it was the end of the stay 🥲. Honestly, don't change anything, you're perfect. Thank you. You have gained new regulars.

20/09/2024: Lieu où aller si l'on souhaite un repas typique de montagne. Fromage à volonté, diverses possibilités de plats, bonne charcuterie et copieuses assiettes. Le personnel est prévenant et efficace. Le cadre rappelle les chalets. Les prix sont raisonnables.

08/09/2024: Bien évidemment après notre première expérience en janvier dernier. Nous nous sommes retournés dans ce restaurant, cette fois-ci en terrasse et avons une fois de plus été conquis. Nos plats étaient meilleurs les uns que les autres. Le souci quand nous reviendrons sera de choisir!

09/09/2024: Very nice little music bar in Villard de Lans! There are regularly scheduled concerts there, we had a drink there with my brother The atmosphere is warm, the drinks and tapas menu is quite extensive, there are even pizzas. Unfortunately we couldn't attend the concert, but it's the only bar that offers this kind of concept in the area, very nice!

30/07/2024: +20 years of experience with zero professionalism in customer service. This restaurant owner was rude and treated me like untouchable throughout the few minutes in the restaurant. When I arrived at the restaurant, the restaurateur refused my request for a few tables even though there were some available, and this for no good reason. When I asked him why he couldn't place us at the tables that were free and not reserved he replied that he wanted to keep them in case others would arrive. That said, he chose to refuse a secure client and forgo this income simply because he wanted to do it that way. I felt that he was prejudiced against me and what's more, he didn't even make an effort to hide it. I quickly lost my appetite for eating at this place but I wanted to make him understand that his behavior was not in the right direction of a business that derives its future from welcoming and pleasing customers. I spoke to him about this fact, and unsurprisingly he was incorrigible in his attitude and he even went so far as to say that he was happy that I was going somewhere else. Which is easy to do because the village square is surrounded by other restaurants. Going elsewhere didn't bother me in the slightest and I was pleasantly welcomed just a few steps from this restaurant. But for the principle of cause and effect of customer service I leave this customer review. Prospective clients should know about my experience and they don't deserve this same treatment. Although this restaurateur has years in this type of industry, what he didn't know is that I too spent years in this same industry and what's more, I ate in a myriad of restaurants around the world. I know well, not only the restaurant world but also customer service, what should be done and what is unacceptable. The treatment at this establishment was inexcusable. If you have the choice I advise you to look elsewhere to eat when in Villard de Lans.

11/07/2024: A pure moment of delight with my husband. Fresh products, sublimely prepared by LA CHEFFE. The rillette is a pure sweetness in the mouth, and the dishes are a treat.
