17/07/2026: Something is not right with the reviews of this pizzeria. They promise an excellent pizza experience, but that is simply not the case. Far from it, perhaps. There was a warm welcome, but it took a whopping 15 minutes before an order was taken. Then we waited over 40 minutes for the pizza. Together with our children, this was simply too long—a good hour. The strange thing is that after that, despite the warm welcome, there was absolutely no contact during that waiting period. Perhaps deliberately, avoiding all eye contact knowing that it would convey dissatisfaction, and well, the prize has already been won anyway. The entire terrace was sitting in that waiting posture. And the reward, a fantastic pizza? Absolutely not. It wasn't bad, but it was definitely not special and substandard for something praised as the best pizza in Colmar. It was actually kind of tasteless and, above all, quite a greasy pizza for a pretty high price. A real tourist trap? So where do all those euphoric reviews come from anyway? I would absolutely skip this one. *update* The company responded regarding why I didn't bring that up on the spot: because you can't adjust the speed and taste of a pizza. Everyone was waiting; complaining about the speed feels like cutting in line. Complaining that a pizza isn't super tasty—no, you don't do that after more than an hour. For us, it was a matter of eating quickly, paying, and leaving. The fact that YOU as staff don't realize it's taking a long time and offer something about it is where things go wrong. Instead, you don't even glance at the guests who have to wait that long for a simple pizza. That is embarrassing, and you have only yourself to blame. Do something with this feedback! Good luck with that: worst pizzeria in Colmar.

28/07/2026: This lovely little restaurant is situated somewhere in an otherwise not very lively village. We had a delicious meal, without any frills. Quiet, with nice wines and a pleasant ambiance. No fancy look, but it doesn't need to be. The food, on the other hand, certainly is!

20/07/2026: Tarte flambée is similar to pizza but with a very thin crust that isn't filling. After we each ate one, we had to order another pizza to satisfy our hunger.

15/07/2026: A group of 12 of us ate there and it was excellent. The meat was delicious, both in quantity and quality. The service was very good and fast. Good value for money. The pizzas were also good. The place has a charming atmosphere.

27/07/2026: Disappointing... When dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant, one has the right to expect a certain level of quality and service. This was not the case for us. The welcome was nonexistent, the staff were poorly trained or unsupervised, and they tried their best to live up to expectations. How can we blame them? Where was the management team? Where was the sommelier? You don't entrust the dining room of a Michelin-starred restaurant to seasonal workers! Mistakes piled up from beginning to end: excessively long waits, orders not being taken, the way the dishes were presented... it was like a hidden camera prank. As for the food, the dishes were good, but nothing special. We left disappointed.

23/07/2026: We had dinner Tuesday evening at Il Cortile restaurant. We were seated on the terrace in a beautiful courtyard. The setting was idyllic. The service was discreet and friendly. We opted for the Dolce Vitae menu at €98, which was simply delicious. The presentation of the dishes was elegant and refined. All accompanied by an excellent Italian wine. A truly wonderful evening in a very good Michelin-starred restaurant. It richly deserves its star.

24/06/2026: A very pleasant restaurant with fairly quick service. The plates are more than full, as evidenced by the number of customers who have a pizza box or carton to take home. Taking it home proves it's too good to leave... and that you want to save room for dessert 😃 very indulgent! Visited in May for a family birthday; the staff were very pleasant and welcoming, and the service was impeccable.... 👍👍👏👏

30/05/2026: Regarding the pizza vending machine: We stopped here during a motorcycle tour to get something to eat, as almost everything else was closed that day due to the holiday. The pizza was inexpensive (around €6 during special offers, around €11 regular price) and surprisingly good and fast. The drinks vending machine next to it was a great combination. Understandably, the ambiance isn't all that great, but I suppose it's not really meant for eating the pizza on the premises.

The prices are reasonable and you get good value for your money. As for the staff, we received a very warm welcome and helpful advice. I highly recommend a visit to Etna.
