26/01/2026: A very friendly welcome, the kind that immediately makes you feel at ease. The appetizer platter is generous, with good-quality ingredients. The pizza, simply, is delicious: well-cooked, balanced, and expertly made. The atmosphere is authentic, warm, and uncluttered.

30/10/2025: The pizzas are delicious, with a wonderfully soft crust, just the way I like them... At the end of October, it's not too crowded, so the service isn't too slow.

29/04/2026: A disappointing experience at this restaurant. We had a reservation, but despite that, we were served after regulars who arrived later. Furthermore, my gizzard salad, which I was eagerly anticipating, arrived without gizzards, while everyone else's order included them. The waiter didn't even offer to change the dish, nor did he apologize or offer any compensation. Very disappointed.

16/02/2026: Hello, on Saturday evening we ordered from the pizza kiosk in Varades. We've never had a problem ordering online before… I arrived to pick up my order of 4 pizzas and they claimed they hadn't received it, even though the payment had been taken from my account. I showed them that I had indeed ordered in Varades and that the payment had been taken, and they told me there was supposedly a problem with the website and that I wasn't the first person this had happened to. So I had to reorder and pay again; in total it cost me €112.80.

14/09/2025: Very good pizzeria. Good service. Friendly manager. The restaurant's decor, which has remained unchanged, could use a refresh.

21/04/2026: We ordered two full meals. The waiter forgot a starter but immediately served the daily special (it happens, but still, no apology). The ribeye steak wasn't cooked as requested and was quite tough (lots of bits). It would have been nice if they'd offered us coffee for the forgotten starter. There were no details on the bill. I hope they make better pizzas. We won't be going back!

11/04/2026: A warm welcome and service, full of humor, cheerful... and yet professional. The daily menu offered a good selection of generous and delicious dishes. Excellent! Well done and thank you to the whole team. We will definitely return on our next trip to the area. Highly recommended.

10/04/2026: My goodness, when I see the very negative review from this one-star Alice Yoldie, well...!!!!! Go to a gourmet restaurant with a €150 menu, maybe you'll find the meal good? Or go to a seaside restaurant with a €50 menu and a €30 bottle of wine. You might be a competitor, it's quite possible!!!! Anyway, moving on. We had lunch there today and I can tell you it was very good, we thoroughly enjoyed it, and the staff were very welcoming. You can go without hesitation, I recommend it!

03/12/2025: We went to lunch at this restaurant. There was no friendliness whatsoever when we ordered. I had a beer and tagliatelle bolognese with parmesan, which was uninteresting. There was hardly any bolognese sauce, and I didn't even finish it because I didn't enjoy it at all. The place was cold and soulless. A soda was served to one of the people at the table that was three days past its expiration date. When we pointed this out at the time of payment, the response was: "It's only been two days..." It had already been three days... In short, avoid this place. I ordered a cappuccino for €3.50, which was more like a café crème (see photo).

09/10/2025: I just called to make a reservation, and the person on the phone was very unpleasant; she even hung up on me.

19/04/2026: Pizza ordered for takeout, there was a cousin in it, it can happen, but on top

13/04/2026: Several times I've tried to order, but they're out of tenders and fries. It's Monday, 7:30 PM… This can happen at the end of the week or other times, but not at the beginning of the evening service… The person at the reception desk on the phone is not at all friendly. It's a shame; this is the second time in a row that I've been disappointed, from forgetting an item in an order to running out of products, especially fries… etc. Before, I was even quite happy to have rediscovered Lazzaro since the change of ownership, but since the beginning of 2026, it's been a disaster. The woman on the phone isn't exactly friendly either. I'll give it one last chance, hoping not to be disappointed again, before giving up on this fast-food restaurant for good.

21/04/2026: Didn't have time to rate the food and atmosphere, since after a brief exchange with the waiter, he politely told us to go somewhere else.

15/04/2026: Disappointing experience, unpleasant staff, not a smile or a word of politeness except from the waitress serving our table. The manager was also impolite. The food was as bland as the rest of the restaurant.

07/02/2026: The pasta is still good. We went to L'Arlequine tonight and, for the first time since 2012, we were disappointed. The quality of the ingredients has dropped, and so has the quantity. What a shame 😭. Not to mention the white sauce, which was practically invisible. The ham, or perhaps the shoulder, was extremely salty.

02/02/2026: Honestly... Just keep walking. They're very nice and all that, no problem there, but the fact that they were world champions 15 years ago really skews things. The pizza is barely passable. The classic pizzas are frankly awful (and I'm sorry to say it, I really am). The Neapolitan pizzas are frankly average, what you'd expect from a typical mid-range pizzeria... But at €17 a pizza. I'm sorry, but you can definitely find much better elsewhere.
