04/01/2026: A bit disappointed by this restaurant. The storefront was very inviting, but the experience fell far short of our expectations.
Let's start with the positives: the service and the wine were impeccable, no complaints there.
However, the food was a real letdown. The carbonara was served with cream and bacon bits that left much to be desired. Then there was the salmon pasta, which tasted like very little; you have to wonder if the pasta water was even salted. Plus, the pasta was overpriced for the quality.
The pizzas looked appetizing and were good (at least the vegetarian one was).
Overall, the restaurant is attractive because of its location but disappointing in terms of both quality and price. Order a pizza to avoid disappointment.
Let's make up our own minds.
02/11/2025: This is our second experience in this restaurant, personally I went back for its unforgettable tiramisu, which is also, in part, what made me want to return to La Baule for a romantic weekend.

27/02/2026: A very good experience; we really enjoyed chatting with the gentleman, who was very attentive and friendly! The meal was excellent, great value for money. I've been there at different times of the year and it's always been perfect! I'll definitely go back! We even went back the next day for their flank steak! I highly recommend it!

14/02/2026: I came to Lazzaro Pizza for lunch today with friends, and I'm also taking their feedback into account in this review.
The pizzas were very good, generously topped, and delicious. The fries were also very good, and the burgers were excellent—no complaints!
However, there was a bit of a wait for the burgers.
The manager is very friendly and welcoming, which is a nice touch. On the other hand, some of the staff weren't very smiley, and we didn't always get a greeting.
12/02/2026: A loyal customer for a long time, I unfortunately stopped ordering a year ago after several orders went undelivered and I couldn't get in touch with the restaurant.
I decided to try again yesterday, hoping the situation had improved. The result: I ordered for 7:45 pm, called twice (8:15 pm and 9:00 pm), and was assured the order was on its way. They called me back at 9:20 pm, and finally explained that the car wouldn't start… So the order was canceled.
I'm really confused and disappointed by this experience. No compensation was offered for a future order, which is a shame.

03/12/2025: We went to lunch at this restaurant. There was no friendliness whatsoever when we ordered. I had a beer and tagliatelle bolognese with parmesan, which was uninteresting. There was hardly any bolognese sauce, and I didn't even finish it because I didn't enjoy it at all. The place was cold and soulless. A soda was served to one of the people at the table that was three days past its expiration date. When we pointed this out at the time of payment, the response was: "It's only been two days..." It had already been three days... In short, avoid this place. I ordered a cappuccino for €3.50, which was more like a café crème (see photo).

07/02/2026: The pasta is still good. We went to L'Arlequine tonight and, for the first time since 2012, we were disappointed. The quality of the ingredients has dropped, and so has the quantity.
What a shame 😭. Not to mention the white sauce, which was practically invisible.
The ham, or perhaps the shoulder, was extremely salty.
02/02/2026: Honestly... Just keep walking.
They're very nice and all that, no problem there, but the fact that they were world champions 15 years ago really skews things. The pizza is barely passable.
The classic pizzas are frankly awful (and I'm sorry to say it, I really am). The Neapolitan pizzas are frankly average, what you'd expect from a typical mid-range pizzeria... But at €17 a pizza.
I'm sorry, but you can definitely find much better elsewhere.

26/02/2026: Excellent delivery service! In addition to the delicious pizzas, we met a friendly and welcoming delivery driver (shout-out to Tiylan!).
22/02/2026: Catastrophic customer service, avoid at all costs!
A truly appalling experience at Pizza Paoli.
I placed an order at 7 pm on their website, which proudly promised delivery in under 45 minutes. The result? An endless wait and a complete lack of respect for the customer.
• 1 hour 15 minutes wait: I called back. They blatantly lied to me, assuring me the order would arrive in "20 minutes maximum."
• 1 hour 35 minutes wait: Still nothing. The estimated delivery time given over the phone had already passed.
• 2 hours wait: The delivery finally arrived. Two hours for pizzas is simply outrageous.
The final straw: For a €43 order, they generously offered me a €2.50 "discount" to compensate for the delay and the disregard for my time. It's an insult.
If you're hungry and value your evening, steer clear. Between the website's false promises and the customer service that makes a mockery of you, this pizzeria is absolutely to be avoided. First and last time for me.

Le cadre .. sur la plage ou en salle , une vue magnifique
La cuisine , toujours de qualité , bons produits , bons choix de vins et cocktails .
Le service , très professionnel, chaleureux , sympathique
Le résultat est parfait .. et ça voit … réservation essentielle!

We loved it!
16/08/2024: Very beautiful place, superb view of the outlet of the Loire estuary which leads to the Atlantic Ocean. Very good table, excellent cuisine, varied and quality choices. Fast and very friendly service. Truly a pleasure.
