Affordable prices, delicious and satisfying lunch menus, a warm welcome, and the quality of the fish is truly excellent. Remember to call ahead to make a reservation, as it's not very big and gets very busy!

06/07/2026: I'm sharing my experience after placing an order on their website. I used to order very often without any problems, but their new online payment system malfunctioned. I told them the payment had been accepted, but I hadn't received a confirmation email. They told me I had to reorder because it hadn't worked. Since I'd already been charged, I explained that this wasn't possible. They wouldn't listen. I was never reimbursed. Their customer service was nonexistent. I'm very disappointed, especially since I was a good customer. They've taken almost €50 from my account without a refund, and they haven't even bothered to do anything about it. I won't be ordering again after this disappointment.

25/07/2026: Japanese cuisine prepared by a Japanese chef. Flavors of Japan rediscovered in the ginger pork bento. Ramen with a delicate tonkotsu broth, but unfortunately without chachu! A drawback: few toppings and noodles resembling spaghetti. Another traditional dish to try: Japanese curry.

Whether you eat in or take away, the welcome and service are always personalized and very warm. I appreciate both the more traditional options and the numerous collaborations that allow you to discover new flavors. For me, Sushi Shop in Vieux-Lille is a sure bet when you want to eat sushi in Lille. I recommend it without hesitation.

They explained the dishes I wasn't familiar with, which helped me make my choice easily. The food was delicious, from the appetizers to the main courses and desserts—everything was perfect. I highly recommend it if you enjoy Japanese food or want to discover it. I can't wait to go back.

15/07/2026: Wednesday's box is a real disappointment. The quality is getting worse and worse. The sushi had a strange taste and didn't seem fresh. What's more, the box is misleading; there's hardly any fish, just rice with cheese, cucumber, or avocado. It's unacceptable.
