02/05/2026: Nice people, didn't have to book ahead. Really good food, close to Euralille and the main city. Also a really pretty decor. We liked it very much. Could sit here even as a (temporary) wheelchair user.

26/04/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. If you love Japanese food, you'll love this place. We took a boat trip and everything was delicious.

08/03/2026: I used to go to the one in Wasquehal because it's disastrously clean, so I was very disappointed with the one in Marquette. After waiting for ages at the counter, the person who was busy filling the little jars of coleslaw 🥬 finally served us without even saying hello. And to my disappointment, when they filled the bowls, the amount of protein was getting smaller and smaller; it was definitely better before. On the other hand, I have no complaints about the self-service in the fridges.

30/05/2026: A huge disappointment. I had been there about a year ago and had a decent experience, but this time it was a disaster. The only positive thing about the evening was the sushi. Everything else was very disappointing: undercooked rice, overcooked and dry chicken, uninteresting beef and cheese, and, in general, very poor quality dishes. The value for money is particularly bad. The price is high for a quality that doesn't live up to expectations. You expect much better at that price (€56 for two people with a soft drink). Another problem: we were admitted at 10 p.m., but we were told shortly after that the kitchen closed at 10:30 p.m. For an all-you-can-eat restaurant, this is incomprehensible. It doesn't leave enough time to enjoy the meal properly. In addition, the selection offered in the all-you-can-eat option is very limited. Finally, as I was leaving the restaurant, I spotted a mouse or a rat scurrying near the seats. That definitively convinced me not to return. A very disappointing experience from beginning to end. I won't be back.

24/03/2026: Just popped in for a quick sushi snack on the way to a pub, the food was decent, we had spicy tuna maki.

12/04/2026: The restaurant has beautiful decor and a consistently pleasant welcome. The fish is very fresh and the menu is varied. We love the set menu with five appetizers and one main course. The scallops are to die for. We've been coming to Nagoya for years and have never been disappointed.

Thank you for keeping this excellent Japanese restaurant alive in Douai for 20 years!

18/05/2026: I've been going to this restaurant for at least a year. I love their generously portioned poké haleiwa, and my daughter really enjoys their maki and sushi! The staff is welcoming and incredibly kind. 💯👌🏼✨️

13/05/2026: The worst Too Good To Go I've ever seen. Ridiculous quantity, and they even cancel five minutes before the pickup time. No gesture of goodwill, no apology, but the hypocritical salesperson's smile was all there. Don't buy the basket; the price of diesel isn't worth the trip for nothing.

24/03/2026: I ordered the beef with onions as an express takeout. How can I put it… The box contained a few pieces of meat that looked like they were fighting for space, some onions and carrots, and, most importantly, a huge amount of rice. Frankly, it's a disgrace for the price. I usually get sushi here and I've never been disappointed. This time, I wanted a change… clearly, it wasn't a good idea, not at all.
