27/02/2026: A very pleasant restaurant that my partner introduced me to (he's been eating there for over 18 years!). The atmosphere is very calm, and you're completely immersed in Japanese culture. There's a wide variety of choices, which means you can try something different each time and discover new flavors! But what I want to emphasize most of all is the service: we're always warmly welcomed with a smile and good cheer! Kyoto has become our go-to spot :)

27/11/2025: Absolutely avoid this place! As a regular customer, I went there today for lunch with my partner. When we ordered, we mentioned we had two loyalty cards, one of which was full and should have given us a €12 discount. They refused to give us our loyalty card, saying it had changed and was no longer valid. We then asked if we could still get a discount (knowing that I had spent over €300 to get our card full). They categorically refused. This constitutes fraud under commercial law because the card doesn't have a validation stamp. While the food is good, being ripped off like this is clearly theft. Absolutely avoid this place!

23/03/2026: After several visits to Sakura, we can say that we enjoy it every time! We highly recommend it. They are very attentive to allergens, which is a huge plus!

08/02/2026: Three times in one week, and I can confidently say it's excellent! Very good, traditional Japanese cuisine at very reasonable prices! Grilled skewers, miso soup, Asahi beer, and all sorts of sushi, maki, etc. Okay, because I like to point out areas for improvement: the wasabi and ginger seem a bit too processed; authentic products would be ideal. And the decor/general ambiance isn't amazing; it could use a refresh. But I'm completely satisfied with the meals! (And that's the main thing!)

09/01/2026: The wait time is unacceptable: over 1 hour 30 minutes for delivery, and that's if you call ahead; otherwise, you can easily wait 2 hours. I used to be a regular customer, but that's it, I'm done. I'll never order from there again. However, their food was very good.

08/03/2026: I used to go to the one in Wasquehal because it's disastrously clean, so I was very disappointed with the one in Marquette. After waiting for ages at the counter, the person who was busy filling the little jars of coleslaw 🥬 finally served us without even saying hello. And to my disappointment, when they filled the bowls, the amount of protein was getting smaller and smaller; it was definitely better before. On the other hand, I have no complaints about the self-service in the fridges.

20/02/2026: A varied, fresh and above all very good selection of sushi, fast service, friendly welcome (thanks to Dimitri).

24/03/2026: Just popped in for a quick sushi snack on the way to a pub, the food was decent, we had spicy tuna maki.

14/02/2026: We ordered delivery from this restaurant. The advertised delivery time was 13 to 15 minutes, but after almost an hour's wait, we still hadn't received anything. The order was eventually cancelled without any explanation. Very disappointing service.

14/03/2026: Although the food is very good, we are very disappointed. We went twice; the first time at the till the person was very unpleasant, and the second time, even though there weren't many people and it was 8 pm, we were refused takeaway because, and I quote, "we don't have time." Frankly, we were disappointed.

03/11/2025: Excellent. Nothing like the chain restaurants! The sushi is delicious. I highly recommend it.

26/10/2025: Maybe they had an off-night, but the sushi I had was dreadful. The rice was incredibly mushy and wet. It felt like I was eating porridge. The taste of the fish didn't bring it up enough unfortunately. When I am in Lille again I will be avoiding this place..
