The dishes are homemade! There aren't many choices, but they're excellent. The ramen is truly delicious.
We'll definitely be back.

24/11/2025: I visited this restaurant at lunchtime out of curiosity, and it was simply outstanding. Fresh, delicious, generous portions, and a warm, friendly, and respectful welcome.
23/11/2025: A pleasant, all-you-can-eat restaurant. The dishes are quite good, but they lack a bit of variety and sophistication for the price. Also, everyone sits around a single circular rug, so there's a slight lack of privacy, and the restaurant is a little cramped.

For someone with a French stomach, one set meal was not enough. It got quite pricey when you added sides, desserts, and other extras. They seemed to have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, so this might be a good place to enjoy a variety of snacks without worrying about price or time.

17/01/2026: Without a doubt, the best authentic Japanese restaurant. The owner is as lovely as she is attentive, the dining room is spacious and calm, and the cuisine is inventive and very fresh (the tempura is incredibly crispy). The drinks menu is extensive (at reasonable prices). Undoubtedly one of the best places in the neighborhood (especially compared to the other, rather uninteresting Japanese restaurant on Rue Duguesclin!).

02/12/2025: I followed the reviews that promised an ideal place to work, and I wasted my time. There was only one power outlet in the entire café (already in use, of course), pop and rock music blasting, and exorbitant prices for a hard brownie and a bitter, bland matcha. It was my first and last time there. The staff were friendly, though.
27/11/2025: It's a shame. The place is welcoming, but the music is far too loud.
I call that noise pollution!
I asked them to turn the music down, but it seemed "impossible." A flimsy explanation. I won't be back.

It's very difficult to enjoy sushi after trying dozens of places in Lyon, and I've never been delighted.
And then, while strolling through the 6th arrondissement, I came across this place.
Sushi ready in 10 minutes on a Friday evening, the staff is great. And the sushi is really affordable for the quality!!!
Miso soup, rice, coleslaw, and 6 sushi rolls free with an order over €30.
I highly recommend this place.

13/11/2024: Miwa sushi offers a very wide choice of dishes whether sushi/maki/sashimi/Temaki or hot dishes such as Ramens, noodles, Udon Bo bun, poke etc. Everything is really very good, you feel like it's homemade, hence the slightly higher but affordable price. I recommend their mixed meal menu with 3 or 4 dishes that I have every week. And the mochi are really delicious, especially my favorite with matcha green tea 😋🤤
The atmosphere is very cozy. And above all the service is really very good, very human. I was even given real baguettes as a gift as a loyal customer 🥰

22/09/2024: Once again, not the right order... We have been customers for years, but since ordering by telephone is no longer possible we have NEVER had exactly what we ordered (and never in our favor of course ). What a pity.
