08/08/2026: A small restaurant I stumbled upon, but a pure delight! The fish was exceptionally fresh, the staff very friendly, and the prices reasonable for the quality of the food. Even the wasabi was real wasabi, extracted from the plant, which is rare to find. I highly recommend it.

26/07/2026: If you're looking to experience authentic Japanese flavors (dishes, beers, appetizers, sake, etc.) in a relaxed setting far removed from the ostentatious displays of typical Japanese restaurants, then come to La Cantine Japonaise. As for the food, the pork gyoza are delicious, the tori no karaage (tender salad) is excellent, and the katsu-don and ebiten curry udon are also great. I didn't get a chance to try the matcha and dark chocolate cookies, but the mochi ice cream and the green tea/yuzu ice cream are perfect for dessert. A wonderful and unique spot in Lyon!

05/08/2026: Parking is difficult in the evening; if needed, there's the Brotteaux car park 400m away. Easy to park on a Sunday at lunchtime. A very nice experience. Reservation made in advance through The Fork. Nice decor. Everything is very good. The chicken skewer was exceptional, and the seaweed was a nice touch. €26 for adults in the evening and €14 for children, excluding drinks.

24/05/2026: Everything was delicious, the staff was friendly, and most importantly—something that's rare—the prices are affordable with impeccable food quality! (€13.40 for lunch: miso soup + rice + coleslaw + 6 salmon and avocado California rolls + 6 salmon maki rolls is literally unbeatable, especially in the 6th arrondissement. They also generously offered me a free drink.) I highly recommend it!! ✨

24/08/2026: A great experience for a lunch with colleagues. Despite the limited space, the staff moved the tables so we could sit together as a group of five. The food flows freely, like in an all-you-can-eat restaurant, but here it's brought directly to your table. The dishes are quite varied overall, but you have to wait about ten minutes for the offerings to be replenished. In any case, I recommend it; you won't be disappointed, and neither will your wallet!

Avoid this place on a hot afternoon. ----- A great place run by true specialists who are also very friendly. I really love the latte art! I'm adding new photos of the latest creations!!
