16/08/2024: Nice restaurant in the heart of Les Rousses. Good food, well presented and tasty. The wine is quality. A very friendly welcome with welcoming waiters. Typical setting of a mountain restaurant. Frankly not disappointed, but it is imperative to book in advance!!!

28/08/2024: Small, friendly and very good restaurant. They offer local specialists, the cheeses are excellent and the fondue is great! Impeccable service. We highly recommend, but you might want to think about booking :)

19/09/2024: Happy surprise to discover the restaurant Chalet du Lac, which changed owners 6 months ago, the welcome, the menu and the cuisine are perfect, all in a warm decor with jazz music.
19/09/2024: We celebrated our wedding anniversary in a beautiful location. The lilac cocktail, a treat! The wine, exquisite The refined meal delighted our taste buds from start to finish. A great and dynamic team took great care and provided very good advice. A Huge Thank you for this very beautiful and wonderful evening,

05/09/2024: We came to eat at the inn with a car club, we were superbly welcomed and the owner told us about the family saga, top notch. The typical delicious meal. A very nice break.
26/08/2024: Very friendly restaurant, half Swiss, half Jura, with traditional regional meals that are simply delicious.
Very friendly staff, a bit of a wait but the old-fashioned decor helps pass the time.

28/08/2024: Small meal after a hike at the fort, there were people, so a bit of a wait, but nothing insurmountable (especially compared to the nearby chalet). The Jura escalope and the Jura plate (sausage + charcuterie + concoillote) were very good and not so excessive in terms of prices.
25/08/2024: No drinks menu, not a very friendly welcome. Chocolate in bags to pour yourself... Really a shame being on the Swiss border. Damage.

Uncooked dough, Di Buffala mozzarella in the oven...so it released all the water, the dough was wet, dough which also had no taste or crispiness.
I didn't really like it.

The welcome and service are very friendly and impeccable.
And the raclette on embers is a surprising delight.
It is imperative to do this experience.

Top decorating ideas.
The dishes are bold and original and mostly local.
The burger deserves a little more quality in terms of buns but everything is fine.
The boss seems quite reserved and gruff as a result, but going beyond the visual, we realize that he is a very nice person

25/09/2024: Arriving on a Friday evening after a long drive, we were delighted with our visit to this restaurant. We were able to taste typical products of the region. Simple but very well executed dishes (grilled Morteau sausage, delicious cheese-stuffed potato, incredible red cabbage, fresh pasta with bleu de Gex). Warm welcome despite the fact that we did not book! The wood fired pizzas also looked excellent.
08/09/2024: Very pleasant place, well received by smiling staff. Excellent cuisine, the Francomptoise pizza, with a morel base, is as hearty as it is delicious.😛

20/08/2024: Great restaurant just a small downside the service was long and they brought us a bottle of white wine when we had almost finished eating. But the meal was delicious. Good location, pleasant terrace, friendly staff. It's the holidays and I think a shortage of staff is difficult to find these days.
Highly recommended for its excellent cuisine.

18/07/2024: A warm welcome, more than adequate rooms as well as a friendly restaurant.
13/07/2024: Comme nous devions aller visiter le fort des Rousses, nous nous sommes arrêté au premier restaurant en entrant aux Rousses. Très bon accueil, serveur ultra sympathique et aux petits soins. Si la carte est classique, c'est très bien cuisiné. Copieuses salades de chèvres, très bon saumon en papillote. Moi qui ne prends normalement plus de steak de bœuf au restaurant, car de plus en plus souvent mal découpé, j'ai eu la bonne surprise d'avoir un filet de bœuf très tendre (j'ai réussi à couper la viande le couteau à l'envers). Et j'ai eu droit à un dessert "sur mesure". Donc rien à redire. Merci

29/06/2024: I looked to book at this establishment and I absolutely needed to know the availability of the charging station advertised.
I tried to contact them 5 times and left a message on their answering machine... Never got a response from them...
On the other hand, after publishing this review, the establishment took the trouble to respond, which in my opinion shows sincere consideration of customers.
I have modified my review accordingly and I will be delighted to test the quality of this establishment.
PS: the availability of a charging station for your customers is important for more and more people. Especially since the Region is very poorly equipped.
Please indicate the access conditions and the recharge rate.
10/03/2024: The beauty of the setting does not match the disappointing reception staff we were just entitled to a goodbye have a good day no exchange
Breakfast at 18th average we would have appreciated a 2nd coffee at that price
