27/07/2024: C'est notre ami Bordelaise qui a choisi ce restaurant que nous Orléanais nous ne connaissions pas. Une très belle découverte en terme culinaire avec des associations de goûts intéressantes, produits de qualité et parfaitement cuisinés. Aucune déceptions sur nos choix à la carte et sur l'ardoise... L'accueil est sympathique et le service efficace et prévenant. A conseiller sans retenue.

02/09/2024: L'accueil est parfait, la cuisine est simple et bonne ce qui nous convenait pour un dîner imprévu, des serveuses très professionnelles et agréables. Nous pouvons juste regretter l'absence de produits locaux : bières et vins en particulier.

17/08/2024: Si manger est vital pour votre survie, allez y. Sinon passez votre chemin. C'est sûr c'est une brasserie pas un étoilé mais quand même. Quand on est blasé d'un métier, on peut changer. La vue sur la cathédrale est unique. Ça se limite à ça. Accueil pas franchement chaleureux du responsable. Il est courtois mais on sent vraiment qu'on est là pour manger, payer et se casser. Pas pour se faire des amis. Les plats (steack et saumon à l'oseille) étaient tièdes et sans assaisonnement. La viande mangeable sans plus. Le saumon ne m'a pas rendu malade, c'est déjà ça. Quant aux toilettes, je suis vraiment content d'être un homme. Immondes!!! mais il faut reconnaître que les utilisateurs sont également responsables.

05/09/2024: For 3 years that I have been in Orléans, I have finally discovered this bistro to my taste, everything is really pleasant, the terrace, the welcome, the service including the staff, the dishes and the ice creams are really top notch including the atmosphere. . Really well done.

23/07/2024: We’ve tried a few restaurants in the region and this one makes the top of the list. We quickly became regulars. It is top quality French food. The entrecôte, the gratinée de saumon, and the rillette de poisson are our favorites. Service is always great and so is the price.

31/07/2024: Tested this evening for the first time, with the desire for a Bo bun, we took 3, spring rolls (I only like mine and always find them bland in most restaurants and there we had everyone was happy at home!), the fried chicken ravioli are amazing, the sticky rice like I remember when I was little, bye bye let's start dessert with our coconut and mango sticky rice ❤️ Delighted, and we won't hesitate to come back!!

05/12/2024: Detailed review of the restaurant: a nuanced experience Ah, this restaurant, an experience which, let’s say it, deserves to be dissected with care. As soon as I arrived, I let myself be carried away by an atmosphere oscillating between a warm "welcome" and a slight coldness, subtle but palpable, which I will detail later. Let's start with the basics: the food. The chopped staek, at first glance, seemed promising – left a strange taste in my mouth, as if the effort was there but without the expected little extra soul. Certainly, the sauce, a culinary creation that I would describe as daring, came to play the heroine with surprising vivacity. She had that “je ne sais quoi” that warms the taste buds and saves the plate from a culinary disaster. A great feat of this sauce which “put a stop in the shoulder”, to use your words, and which, in itself, did the job. However, all was not rosy. There was this indefinable “something was missing”. Perhaps a touch of spice, slightly more precise cooking, or simply that little grain of love that we expect in a dish worthy of the name. Do you see what I mean? A detail. But this detail was missing. Let's talk about fries, these popular queens of plates. Potatoes, let's say it bluntly, they were indeed. And this is where the subtlety of this criticism lies: "potatoes" in the sense that they proudly carried their potato essence, but, alas, a little too much. Too soft, too simple, they seemed to have abandoned all hope of crispness. A real disappointment for me, a fan of fries that crunch to the bite. As for the welcome… Ah, the welcome! A mixture, a patchwork of attitudes, where each waiter seemed to play his own role in a play of changing moods. Special mention to the bald gentleman, whose kindness seemed to have taken leave that day. There was an undeniable, almost contagious sourness in his eyes and in his gestures. However, it would be unfair to generalize. Not everyone was so... bitter, to use the right word. Some employees, although rare, showed sincere kindness, creating a strange duality in the general atmosphere. In conclusion, this restaurant gave me a mixed experience to say the least. We cannot deny that the kitchen tries things, that efforts exist, but certain essential aspects lack finesse or consistency. And reception, that crucial first and last impression, would greatly need collective alignment. For this reason I can only give it three stars. A rating that reflects an experience that is neither disastrous nor memorable, but simply... correct.

07/09/2024: Excellente adresse, accueil sympathique et professionnel, cadre chaleureux et repas excellent. Nous avons mangé dans ce restaurant pour mon anniversaire et c’était un choix parfait. Je recommande ce restaurant sans hésitation.

20/08/2024: L’ultima cena di una bellissima vacanza in Franci che ci ha portato da Brouges alla Normandia, Bretagna e ora la regione della Loira. Una degna chiusura! Il ristorante è bello, arredato con gusto e ha come punto di forza l’offerta che varia giornalmente a seconda di quello che è disponibile sul mercato e quello che lo chef vuole preparare. Io e la mia compagna abbiamo preso entrambi un tataki di tonno con guacamole, dove il tonno era davvero perfetto. Abbiamo poi proseguito con un eccellente San Pietro al curry e cocco con zucchine, melanzane e riso. Nulla da dire: nel complesso buon piatto, ma come spesso capita nella cucina francese, il protagonista, in questo caso il San Pietro, scompariva un po’ tra i sapori. Ci vorrebbe meno quando si è di fronte a una materia prima di ottimo livello che andrebbe solo esaltata bei suoi sapori. A chiudere mi sono concesso un tris di formaggi composto da Comte, Chevre e Pont-L’Eveque. Buoni Serata ben accompagnata da un Pouilly Fumè di BOUCHIE-CHATELLIER. Servizio rapido, anche se potrebbe fare qualche sforzo in più per parlare inglese.
