11/05/2024: C'était bon mais manque de saveur et d'épices. Dommage j'aurais aimé plus relevé peut être trop européaniser. Sinon bon accueil. petit restaurant très tranquille. a faire peut etre trop de choix pour une bnne cuisine maison, je ne sais pas!!!!

23/03/2024: Avions réservé une table mais au bout de 40 minutes sans avoir pû commander, nous sommes partis. Le restaurant enchaîne les commandes en emporter, au détriment des clients sur place. Honteux.

15/10/2024: We recently had lunch at La Cigale creperie in Laval and our experience was unfortunately disappointing. The dishes lacked freshness and flavor, which somewhat spoiled our enjoyment. The dessert, a lemon crepe, was not up to par: it was simply a crepe drizzled with lemon juice, without any additional touches to enhance the taste. As for the cider, it did not have the character that one expects from a good Breton cider. Too bad, because the restaurant benefits from a charming setting in old Laval, but the quality of the food was not up to par.

06/06/2024: Menu changes almost every day - ask when you arrive for that day's dishes. Four courses including (excellent) coffee and a glass (big) of wine for less then 15€ each. We have never before for this amount been offered a selection of well-kept cheeses with the board being left at the table and for dessert a similar selection of about 15 different home-made delicacies, including vary-flavoured mousses, eclair, individual lemon meringue tart and other pastries. Everything prepared and presented by a marvelous team. A proper old-school Relais feel - red wine and cider bottles at each table. Had to check that we had parked the correct side of the street depending on the date of the month. Some thing change too rapidly - hope that this doesn't happen here. Return visit scheduled soon.

08/01/2025: A beautiful, quiet establishment, inside the village of Margon. Warm welcome. The rooms are spacious and clean, nice bathroom. A beautiful swimming pool to relax at the end of the day. The breakfast is plentiful. The only thing missing from this establishment is a restaurant.
