15/09/2024: We took three different salads for an impromptu lunch in this seafront restaurant – literally on Pero beach. The staff were very accommodating, removing the chicken in one, so as to satisfy a vegetarian diet. The place had a friendly feel, the service was reasonably prompt and the food was good: though my goat cheese-on-toast salad was a bit over-drenched in olive oil. For us this was a random find and well worth the visit, despite a profusion of dogs that had to be shoo’ed away.
15/09/2024: Petite paillote authentique, les pieds dans le sable, le tartare de thon et ses frites maison, y sont excellents. Le soir le coucher de soleil est à couper le souffle.

The starter was the tuna tartare, highly recommended!
Ordered based on the recommendation of the last reviewer.
The fries were okay, it's a matter of taste.
I personally prefer thin ones.
The salad and dressing were great - a total of 5 ⭐️
The main course was mussels 🐚
They were a bit bland.
Still, the mussels were great value for money.
I'd love to try more seasoning next time.
Still recommended.

05/09/2024: Et bien voila un restaurant original au milieu des traditionnelles terrasses/vue mer de Porto.
Concept simple , tout est clair lorsque on lit les informations distillées par les multiples panneaux écrits par le Patron lui même avec son humour bien trempé.
En effet , il fait tout lui même … service, cuisine, conseils, petites blagues deuxième degré .
Mais c’est surtout dans l’assiette que ça se passe.
Fraîcheur , saveurs d’ailleurs , composition et présentation des plats . Tout fut un régal !
Bravo , nous diffuserons cette belle adresse !
Attention réservation sur place , un seul service … mais quel service!

17/09/2024: Cadre chaleureux et cosy que cette terrasse sur la rue principale de l épicerie Leca qui propose une grande planche de charcuterie et fromages Corse . Comme
Son nom l indique, elle est juste incontournable . Le prix de 35€ est un peu plus cher que la normale rencontrée sur notre séjour, mais au final, les variétés proposées sont plus importantes que la moyenne et la qualité est au rendez vous . Donc un rapport qualité prix finalement justifié . Par contre, Les vins au verre étaient à notre goût irréguliers , mais nous aurions du avant, demander l’avis du serveur qui en avait une bonne connaissance et exprimer nos préférences en terme d arôme. Une belle adresse sur Cargese .

29/09/2024: We just had one drink, I recommend the vanilla iced tea and the Virgin colada. The view of the beach is magnificent from the terrace and the friendly welcome. A good time!!!

22/09/2024: The location of this charming spot is unbeatable.
The lovely people running it are so kind and helpful. My recommendation would be to update the rooms, but other than that, we loved it there.
Our meal in the evening was especially good.
Great matress to get some needed rest.

Nourriture excellente, épaule d'agneau et cochon de lait confits, un délice !
Les légumes et polenta en accompagnement étaient également délicieux.
Nous y sommes allés 3x en 3 semaines et nous y retournerons la saison prochaine sans hésiter !

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans ce restaurant, le cadre est incroyable, la nourriture et +++ pour l’accueil.

Une carte simple , mais, avec des produits de qualité.
Florent, est très chaleureux, énergique et donne d'excellents conseils sur les plats et la Corse pour les lieux à visiter ou non.
Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. La note est largement mérité.
Excellent, établissement à recommander.

Dîner très romantique avec un couché de soleil à couper le souffle.
Le repas n’a absolument rien gâché, les assiettes étaient très bien garnies, avec des préparations très appétissantes.
Je vous le recommande qd vous êtes de passage ds la région !

This hotel has the rudest and least kind staff I've ever experienced. The restaurant staff were a peculiar mixture of dishonest, disinterested and mean. I would highly recommend avoiding the hotel.
It's a real pity since the physical space of the hotel is quite nice.

10/09/2024: Visiting in August, we were able to stay one night in this hotel. We were delighted, the location is very pleasant.
We had booked a family apartment, the rooms were clean. I recommend this establishment, very good value for money.
If we are in Porto Ôta again we will come back
