23/10/2025: Superb location, quiet, great welcome at the end of the season. Perfect meals, tasty cuisine but not sophisticated. Pleasant rooms. Only downside, the sliding glass door of the bathroom is a little noisy.
22/10/2025: I never review businesses, but I'll make an exception for this hostel, where we spent two nights in October. It's a "relaxing" place where everything is perfect: quiet location, meals, room, and top-notch, friendly service. Perfect for relaxing.

The food was acceptable. The price-performance ratio was extremely unbalanced. We won't be back.
What a shame about this evening. As a non-French speaker, you feel like you're clearly not being taken seriously.

29/09/2024: We just had one drink, I recommend the vanilla iced tea and the Virgin colada. The view of the beach is magnificent from the terrace and the friendly welcome. A good time!!!

We wanted to thank the kind grocer for her valuable advice following our conversation. Thanks to her, we discovered this restaurant. We had a wonderful time there: a warm welcome, a superb setting, delicious and refined cuisine with real specialties ❤️, and there's something for everyone!
Thank you to the entire team and their boss for their thoughtfulness.

13/11/2025: The "real deal": a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a delicious pan-fried cuttlefish, a truly flavorful fish soup with just the right amount of richness (hahaha), generous and tasty cannelloni, and to finish, THE house fiadone. Regulars here, the restaurant was packed on a Wednesday evening in November, requiring a second seating. What a success for the Comelli family, who also introduced the circus to Corsica! Bravo, bravo, and thank you for this wonderful experience, blessed by the Virgin Mary!

Les fritures n’avaient pas vraiment de goût. Les moules trop petites. Les frites maison étaient en revanche très bonnes. Le serveur était très aimable !

10/07/2025: A beautiful, welcoming place with attentive staff. Prices are a bit high, but the view is definitely worth it!
05/07/2025: The owner will be able to have a field day and respond to me with "JACOUILLE" style, as he likes to do when he doesn't like the reviews!
So here it is: several restaurants huddled together on this street in the old town, all advertising panoramic views and ALL-homemade cuisine (I doubt it for some?).
Besides, we didn't make the right choice. The service was decent but completely indifferent, the food was barely decent, with big savings on quality ingredients (Caesar salad). The famous 9-euro FIADONE, which looks like two little fingers, a bit of coulis, and a rosette of whipped cream.
I mentioned this to the owner, who replied that he pays "very, very dearly" for Brocciu in the summer: I can assure you, he must buy it at the price of caviar, the poor thing! I come to CORSICA every year, rarely disappointed, but this... NO!!

15/09/2024: We took three different salads for an impromptu lunch in this seafront restaurant – literally on Pero beach. The staff were very accommodating, removing the chicken in one, so as to satisfy a vegetarian diet. The place had a friendly feel, the service was reasonably prompt and the food was good: though my goat cheese-on-toast salad was a bit over-drenched in olive oil. For us this was a random find and well worth the visit, despite a profusion of dogs that had to be shoo’ed away.
