05/04/2024: What happiness! A great experience that we recommend!

05/04/2024: We don't know where we are going but after this unforgettable experience we know where we come from! I am passionate about cooking and curious about discoveries. I sometimes arrive with a lot of slightly conditioned expectations...and the same thing all my codes have fallen and dynamic surprises follow one another!! An aside in a Culinary No Man’s Land that you absolutely must discover.

06/04/2024: Safe bet, undoubtedly the best eel restaurant I know in Paris. Rare restaurant where the quality of the food reminds me of Japan. The staff has been the same for years, I see that as a sign of quality. Japanese ceremonial and aesthetics are not lacking. The only downside, formerly frequented by a mainly Japanese and discreet population, the last two times, unembarrassed customers occupied the entire sound volume of the place (on uninteresting subjects) without the staff being able to do much about it. I obviously would not make the affront of presenting it as an alternative to sushi/sashimi, I highly recommend it to those who want to experience a little taste journey. My guests, surprised the first time at the mention of eel, systematically ask me to return.

04/04/2024: Very tasty unagi set. Eel was cooked to perfection. Special sauce rich and flavourful. Side dishes are very light to help cleansing palate after few bites of fatty eel and rice with the rich sauce. It’s my second time there and I’ll visit again when I’m in Paris. Reservation is a must as it gets fully booked most of the time.

06/02/2024: Very cute place with friendly staff. The flavour of the matcha latte was nice but rather sweet. I’d come back here if I have a suger and matcha craving. Also a very nice collection of japanese kitchenware(plates,bowls, etc)

Disappointment for this recent visit - food: pretty good dishes, but really disappointing kimchi and mochi - service: forgotten dishes in the order - atmosphere: as usual, noisy and sitting shoulder to shoulder Not sure to come back

28/03/2024: Atypical Korean cuisine, different from what you generally find in Korean restaurants. The smoked puffed rice tea is a very nice discovery. Very good service.

05/04/2024: Pretty good place The dishes are not bad, but nothing excellent I found it quite bland and it didn't taste like parmigiana. On the other hand, the service is fast and the servers are friendly. If you are looking for a real Italian, go your way

06/04/2024: Warm welcome and extremely fast service. I enjoyed being at the bar to see the kitchen in action. The tokoyaki are worth trying! The rest is good! Great for a hassle-free Japanese dinner. There you can find specialties that aren't available everywhere, like nato.

05/04/2024: The phone of one of the cooks was placed on his cutting board, in contact with the knife used for cutting meat. This raises questions about the hygiene standards of the establishment (especially for a Japanese restaurant). Loyal customer for several years, I will not return. The donburis are pretty good though.

01/04/2024: Best thing was food. Scramble egg on toast was amazing. Nice and cozy atmosphere. Staff should be more hospitable. Prices are reasonable.

04/04/2024: Very good Korean cuisine restaurant near the opera/pyramid in Paris. The dishes are generous and delicious. I took the Chicken Mayo Doepbap lunch formula (rice, fried chicken, egg, mayonnaise) and gyoza, no regrets in terms of quality and price, I'm delighted. The taste is reminiscent of Seoul dishes, a delight.

12/03/2024: We discovered this restaurant by chance and were very pleasantly surprised by the place. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. We would like to thank the waiter who managed the service alone all evening and who remained smiling and very efficient while serving us very good cocktails! (12.03.2024)

06/04/2024: Excellent Japanese Bakery! The melon pan, matcha Mille crepe, and all the beignets (especially the Kinako) are so good! Highly recommend!

05/04/2024: One of my best culinary experiences to date. Recommend and share with friends. Fast, courteous service and a family atmosphere. Closest to the kitchen which is central. A trip to Japan in the heart of Paris. The udon curry was excellent, be careful, very spicy!

05/04/2024: The staff is so rude and cold! There is specially a woman who makes you feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome! The food is expensive, and quality is not the best!

07/03/2024: A great find! This little jewel knows how too serve without being pushy, give customers space without hoovering around them. I also did a takeaway and my kids loved it. Portions are good. I certainly didn't come away hungry! To the extent that I didn't order my dessert for the dine-in either. Will be going back soon. Excellent! The service needs a special mention - thoughtful, attentive and just so polite - like a breath of fresh air! Oh! And do note, it's a stone's throw away from the famed Louvre museum. Side note: I could do with some added chillies and salt

26/03/2024: Food was amazing, one of the tastiest Michelin-like experiences I’ve had. Portions were quite big too, so please come very hungry. Service was quite slow for such restaurants, we had to wait the next course for too long even though place was almost empty.
