13/07/2026: Warm welcome, quite a lot of choice on the menu, the food is pretty good, and the service is fast.

30/06/2026: Had a wonderful breakfast at Aux Ducs de Bourgogne during our time filming in Paris near the church. The traditional Breton galette with egg, ham, and melted cheese was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the butter and sugar crêpe was simple, authentic, and absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was warm and charming, with the feeling of a classic Parisian neighborhood crêperie rather than a tourist spot. The service was friendly and welcoming, and it was the perfect place to begin our day before filming. If you’re looking for authentic French crêpes in the 7th arrondissement, this is a lovely choice.

24/07/2026: "Secret" tip - a normal pub in the area, where there is either nothing or significantly more expensive establishments. Food and service are great, the staff made up of local regulars adds to the atmosphere. Only us tourists.

Caroline was absolutely fantastic and made the entire evening feel special, welcoming, and effortless. She guided us through the wines in English, which was perfect for our group, and explained everything in a way that was both interesting and easy to follow. The wines themselves were amazing, and the space created such a beautiful and memorable atmosphere for the evening. You can really tell how much care goes into every detail. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t recommend the experience enough. Thank you again to Caroline and the whole team, we hope to be back soon!

04/09/2026: We stopped by for lunch after visiting the Eiffel Tower. Thierry, the owner, and his staff were all so amazing and friendly. The service was wonderful, and the meats and cheeses were absolutely memorable. We chose a white wine from the Loire Valley and it paired exquisitely with our meat and cheese plate. The staff even confirmed that our wine was an excellent choice. They also made sure to check on us if we needed anything and made sure we had enough bread to go with our order. Thierry is genuinely nice and gave us recommendations for restaurants that were superb. We truly wanted to come back to this place for another lunch but we will have to make it back when we visit Paris again. Thank you, Thierry and staff! Our experience in Cave Vino Sapiens will be remembered very fondly. Until next time!

31/08/2026: The set menu was a bit pricey and not entirely to my liking. However, the bar menu offers smaller portions. Special mention for the quail pâté. Nice wine and beverage list by the glass. Attentive service. Cozy atmosphere.

29/07/2026: Japanese cuisine using ingredients from Paris. I went there when I was craving Japanese food. Many of the customers were Japanese people living in Paris, and I was able to spend a very relaxing time there.

18/09/2026: ALERT FOOD POISONING: DO NOT GO HERE! Absolutely atrocious restaurant in Paris! Safety hazard level of seafood preparation. Hospital food will be what you will be eating after here. If you survive. The staff were not trained, incredibly rude, and did not even understand their own menu. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible! Definition of your last supper! If you make it….

Sandro was so kind and friendly—he learned we were exchange students and we learned he was from the same small town in Italy I visited a while back! He gave us pretzels before our meal and the food itself was delicious. Very warm and friendly atmosphere—will definitely be back!
