02/08/2026: Candide was super helpful and friendly and encouraging with my broken French. Super good service and friendly staff who speak good English. I really enjoyed!!! Nice sunny seating with alcohol and cigarettes!

The food is still excellent but service was not as attentive and there is loud music playing everywhere that is not in keeping with the ambience of the restaurant. They did ask midstream and then try to correct the service experience so presumably are trying to improve it.

19/07/2026: Very popular restaurant, great service - our wine was forgotten but when we reminded the waiter he was extremely apologetic and they didn’t charge us for it (we wouldn’t have minded paying!) Food was excellent, would definitely recommend this restaurant

22/05/2026: A lovely little brasserie where the food is excellent, a special mention for the spiced pork spider steak – absolutely divine! The service was very welcoming, even for wheelchair users. Go there if you're in the area, but be warned, it fills up quickly, especially at lunchtime; booking is definitely recommended! I'll definitely be back and I'll recommend it to all my friends.

10/07/2026: Café des Officiers turned out to be one of the highlights of our Paris trip. It was right next to our Airbnb, and what started as convenience quickly became a daily ritual. Every meal was delicious, classic French café fare done properly, with generous portions and real care in the preparation. The terrace on École Militaire is the perfect spot to watch Parisian life go by, and it's full of thoughtful touches, like the shade awning and the cooling mist that kicks in when the afternoon gets too hot. A very special thanks to Niko, whose warmth and attentiveness made us feel like regulars from day one. As a Canadian family visiting Paris, we could not have asked for a better neighbourhood café. 13/07/2026: The burger was very good. There was no air conditioning, so the experience was stuffy, but I understand that's the case everywhere. Overall, it was good.

30/06/2026: They were a really nice touch; they offered my dad an extra glass of wine after we paid the bill. A very thoughtful gesture. Just be careful with the stairs! 🤣🤣🤣

12/07/2026: The rice is delicious. The texture of the rice in the nigiri and maki sushi is also just right. I didn't have high expectations for conveyor belt sushi, but it was much tastier than I imagined. The kitchen staff were also very friendly. However, the toilets are dirty.
