28/04/2024: The most exquisite food we have ever eaten and this is why we head to Le Channel each visit to Calais from the UK. The three of us, my cousin Pam, husband Roger and myself all appreciate how we are so warmly welcomed too. Thank you so much and can't wait for our next visit.

06/04/2024: Tourist restaurant with a strange smell when you enter. The boss barks at her employees in front of customers to make them go faster. The dishes ordered (tuna ceviche, tuna heart, salmon tartare and salmon steak) were far too salty, as if in the kitchen they dropped the salt shaker on the plate. As for dessert, the tarte tatin was burnt and very small. Positive point about the fast service and friendly servers. Ultimately the bill will have been as expensive as the dishes. The value for money is not good at all, too expensive for what it is. In short, to avoid.
28/03/2024: Simply exceptional, the welcome at the top with careful service and very good advice, I had the opportunity to have the chicken fillet with chorizo, I mentioned it with the owner because I have never ate such a tender fillet, my wife had the salmon steak as well.
Thank you to the entire team in the dining room and in the kitchen and to the owner who took the time to explain to us how the chicken is cooked.

06/04/2024: Very nice address that we discovered while passing through Calais! The Terre aperitif board is a little expensive considering the quantities. However, the value for money is very satisfactory considering the quality of the dishes and dessert (the fondant is exquisite and the lemon meringue tart is one of the best I have eaten because it is very balanced). We will come back.
04/04/2024: I went to eat a steak with its marrow bone! A good piece of tender meat and cooked to perfection! A treat and the server was very nice and pleasant! It’s really nice....well done to the cooks

05/04/2024: To flee ! Overpriced, very limited quantity on the plate, €70 for 4 drinks, 1 duck breast or should I say 10 small pieces of duck breast, 1 low quality charcuterie board and 3 portions of ridiculous fries. The setting is pleasant but the value for money is terrible. I absolutely do not recommend.

My husband and I came one afternoon, we were very poorly received by unpleasant staff who seemed to be bothered because "we didn't have reservations", the restaurant was not even half full...
We were seated between two couples, the tables are so close together that we have the impression of eating with the people next to us, no privacy, we hear all the conversations, for a romantic dinner this n This is not the desired goal.
Regarding the pizzas, the only good point I will give to this restaurant, they were good, there is nothing to complain about.
However, the state of the toilets is deplorable, for a restaurant like this, we don't expect that, some work would not be a luxury!

05/04/2024: Visited on Friday dinner time, fairly quite, only 2 food tables occupied. It's half pub and half restaurants.
Very generous kids set menu.
Muscles dishes should have more sources and chips were need to be much crisper. But overall was OK.
05/04/2024: We had a good time at the Calice, decent wait times, friendly and available servers, good dishes in the photo, a carbonnade and a Welsh.

Filthy welsh taste of water with lumps uncooked fries still white 6 unfortunate side dishes absolutely Filthy to look at couscous absolutely not hot and without any taste and look carefully for mayonnaise ketchup sauces because they are hidden in the bottom of the store
Sorry channel managers but you have the answer to your problem of declining attendance
Catering completely outdated!!! And disrespectful to the customer because of its quality
A 5€ sandwich menu at Auchan would have been 10 times better

27/03/2024: Four of us ate here. Ambience Meega, looks like an American pub. The staff there was very friendly. Food and drinks came quickly.
Map is very varied. There should be something for everyone. I and my son had burgers with fries. My wife and daughter had spaghetti and pizza. Everything was very tasty and the price was reasonable. We would come again!!
24/03/2024: 1 a.m., my friends and I (there are 10 of us) want to pay separately but the bartender makes it very clear to us that we cannot pay separately because there are too many of us. I know it was because there were people there, but most of us didn't have the money, she would have told me "No time, pay otherwise it's not my problem" that would have been more frank already. So here's 10 minutes wasted doing the math between us. Jack Fire underdosed too, music too loud, no hello or goodbye, the employees wanted to leave I think. Not sure because no communication. Nice decor but clearly a busy bar. I'm a bartender and there's nothing of a bar spirit about it.
