09/02/2026: Gaston's pizzas aren't for everyone, of course, as they have a distinctive taste. If you want a strong wood-fired flavor, sometimes even charred, and something nice and greasy with plenty of toppings, Gaston's is the place to go. If you prefer a neutral or even bland taste... a pizza from a big chain or supermarket will do just fine. And besides, Gaston's are the cheapest around. A real treat and guaranteed to fill you up! :)

08/02/2026: I don't understand the negative reviews. Having eaten pizzas costing between €18 and €20 in Montpellier, and having eaten one from Gaston's priced at €11, honestly I prefer Gaston's because at least I'm satisfied.

17/12/2025: Arthur, his son Arthur in the dining room, Fred in the kitchen, and a lady whose name I've forgotten, make this little restaurant in Palavas one of my favorites. Open year-round. Undoubtedly the best wood-fired pizzeria in Palavas. The welcome and service are top-notch. A very good and satisfying daily special at an unbeatable price for weekday lunches. A very pleasant terrace in the summer. Note: only the terrace is wheelchair accessible.

06/02/2026: Prices are going up, quality is going down. As a customer for over 10 years, I've seen the quality gradually decline. The dough is good one day and really not great the next. The ingredients are less and less high-quality or even present: for example, the old chorizo, sliced ​​very thinly, in the Frederica pizza, the ham, and the cheese used to be much better quality. Now you can tell it's the cheapest option; it has very little flavor. The Reblochon cheese in the Savoyarde pizza is practically nonexistent. They're cutting corners on the very essence of the pizza, and it really ruins everything. It used to be excellent; now it's very basic.

17/10/2025: I confirm: terrible welcome! The waitress spends her time sighing and rolling her eyes when she takes the order. Dry pizzas. Overcooked, basically. And yet, we were the last customers in line, and we had made a reservation. We arrived at the scheduled time. There was no rush or unforeseen events to deal with. We didn't order dessert because we were in a hurry to leave! In short, avoid this pizzeria.
