09/02/2026: I changed my rating due to the owner's aggressive behavior. Initially, I gave it 3/5, which isn't a bad rating. Personally, I was really disappointed with the pizzas. I don't think the quality of the cheese was good, especially the Norci cheese. The crust was thin, as was the topping. Parking is paid nearby unless you park near Aldi, which doesn't necessarily mean they charge; these are city parking spaces.

07/01/2026: The pizza's crust was unusual, and I didn't particularly like it. The pizza was good, but not exceptional.

29/10/2025: We had two vegetarian pizzas, a glass of wine, and an iced tea for €33. The pizza was one of the tastiest we've had in a long time. The owner was very friendly and does everything himself. The atmosphere is okay, the decor simple. The only thing that bothered us was the many small fruit flies.

26/09/2025: A very good pizza, just as it should be. I search in vain for a pizza as good as this at home. The pizza man is always in a good mood and knows his craft. That's how you eat pizza. I go there at least once whenever I'm in the area. This review was six years ago. I've been here many times over the past six years. Every time, I look forward to this delicious pizza and the nice little shop with the always friendly pizzaiolo. I hope I can enjoy such delicious pizza for another six years.

08/02/2026: Friendly welcome, simple but tasty food, pleasant service.

04/01/2026: We were very disappointed. Upon arrival, we asked if it was possible to turn up the heat. We were told no, and in a rather unpleasant manner. Two people were eating wearing hats, and we had to put our coats back on to finish our meal. There were no hand dryers in the restrooms; we had to ask for them. Again, the answer was positive, but not friendly. Not a word of apology (it happens!). The young waitress was very friendly, which was not the case for the other waitress (the manager?). The meat was tough, the fries were soggy and overcooked (reheated?). Some of the potatoes in the morbiflette were undercooked. We didn't dare say anything because we were embarrassed for our friend from Autun who had accompanied us and recommended this restaurant. The pizza, however, was very good. The apple tart was very average (store-bought?). We do not recommend this establishment. It's a shame for the young waitress who was doing her best to make up for it! The setting is very pretty, though.

22/02/2026: The waiter was friendly and welcoming. The portion was generous. There was a good selection on the menu. Orders were taken and service was quick. The food was good. Just one minor point: we were near the entrance and at times we felt a draft from outside, which wasn't very pleasant. Perhaps a small entrance area could be created to block the outside air when customers are coming and going. I would recommend this restaurant in Le Creusot.

20/02/2026: La Smeralda, on Place Schneider in Le Creusot, is a well-located gem, but a theater of human emptiness. The waiters, like soulless automatons, reflect the crass indifference of this region. Last year, I left my hopes here, a smiling CV, fluency in several languages, but nothing. I had to leave, travel 500 kilometers, sleep in orchards, while here I watched mediocrity spit in my face. I don't go to restaurants to encounter injected robots, but human beings. Here, you cease to exist; you're discarded like a dirty handkerchief in a frozen, anonymous region. It's not a city, it's a heartless, meaningless abyss.
