16/08/2024: A very good establishment. Crazy pizzas and a great welcome. Simple but effective. I recommend with your eyes closed if you want to eat well.

31/08/2024: We come regularly. Saturday evening at 9:20 p.m. we were turned away like trash by an arrogant waitress whom we ended up calling out because this person ignored us several times while we were waiting in front of the restaurant. Several tables were available but we were refused access because supposedly there was no longer a single table of 2. While all the tables are tables of 2.... in short.... very disappointed with this behavior. 2 loyal CUSTOMERS lost despite the good food. Fortunately in Chalon there is choice and still friendly and respectful people.

09/07/2025: Lunch at noon with my granddaughters. Horrible salad, nothing but ribs and barely fresh. I reported it to the owner, who clearly couldn't care less. She took the money and that was it.

06/07/2025: A great time spent with family at La Smeralda. The pizzas are excellent, well-filled, and generous. The welcome and service are excellent. I recommend it!

10/01/2025: Last minute lunch for 8 people. Very good welcome. Italian beer and delicious pizzas. Very effective homemade desserts. Very good value for money.

07/06/2024: Je tenais à dire un grand merci à GHISLAINE DUFETRE responsable de la pizzeria pour sa nonchalance, son manque de respect à un homme et un enfant qui sont venus chercher des pizzas pour ce soir (un peu tard je pense bien 21h…..) Après avoir fait 8h de route se faire rembarrer de la sorte je trouve cela inadmissible pour des commerçants (étant également au contact de clients je ne me permettrai pas de leur parler de la sorte.) Je pense être une personne compréhensible et de nous dire juste qu’au vu de l’heure il est trop tard pour nous servir je peux comprendre…. Il y a des façons de le dire…. C’est la première fois que je me permets de mettre un commentaire négatif à quelqu’un mais j’inculque à mon fils de 4 ans la politesse et le respect, et nous parler de la sorte est inadmissible. 01/11/2024: Nous avons voulu rééssayer une énième fois les pizzas lorsque nous avions des amis, et encore une fois déçu. Ingrédients de mauvaise qualité et pâte avec aucun goût et cramée. De plus, le pizzaiolo n'est tellement pas sympathique que l'on a pas envi de revenir. Même pas capable de dire un bonsoir lorsqu'on arrive. Nous ne reviendrons plus 🤮.

04/08/2024: Tastes and colors... So yes, the pizzas are really loaded with toppings and cheap. It's true. We cannot say the opposite. But even on a pizza, and perhaps especially on a pizza, you need a little quality for the ingredients, otherwise it's just not great. Concerning the welcome and the atmosphere, we will describe them as rustic. And then the desserts... Misery... The profiteroles that come out of the cheap Metro freezers, which you are nevertheless charged quite a lot for. Pizzas, if you are hungry, are cheap, but without pleasure. On the other hand, desserts, no, it's shameful.

31/08/2024: Certains membres du personnel n’étaient pas très accueillants, le service à table était un peu long ( les personnes à côté de nous sont partis sans avoir reçu l’apéro au bout de 45min). Les pizzas étaient bonnes mais simple. Pour un prix assez élevé pour le coup… le restaurant reste chaleureux.

31/08/2024: Completely rubbish, after 45 minutes of waiting, even though we had reserved, we still didn't have our drinks The excuse: we don't have any staff, except that there are 5 of them in the theaters!!! TO FLEE because it's even more unfriendly 🤬

21/08/2024: Long service. 2h30 for 1 salad and a coffee. Forgot ingredients and cutlery. Server not very friendly.

21/08/2024: dessert industriel de taille ridicule, boissons commandées servies au verre (au prix de canettes), piège à touristes à fuir seul points positifs l'emplacement en terrasse à proximité de la cathédrale et serveur agréable.
