09/03/2026: Pizzas ordered for takeout, the only positive point being "ready at the requested time." The pizza was stuck to the cardboard, the dough was practically nonexistent, as thin as a sheet of paper, and it tasted burnt... And the burrata on the pizza was rock hard. Go figure...
Totally avoid.

29/03/2026: Overall, the pizzas looked good. But as for the pasta… it's the first time I've been served a "carbonara" with cream and ham… The lasagna didn't have béchamel sauce, and basically, the pasta dishes were hardly representative of Italy.
The service was generally efficient. We had simply asked them to turn the music down because of hearing problems and hypersensitivity. After a while, I asked again because we hadn't noticed any difference, and the waiter told me it had been turned down and left without addressing the issue. I had to go outside for 20 minutes because the noise was too much.

However, unfortunately the pizza 🍕 was very hard, perhaps overcooked, I don't know, I'm not a professional!
Or maybe I was just really unlucky.
From what I remember, they were as good as the ones in Buxy!

16/04/2026: This is the best Italian restaurant in Chalon. Pizzas are between €12 and €14, which is very reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients. As for other dishes, there's a wide selection available, always of excellent quality, of course. Go without hesitation.
18/01/2026: I left with some doubt about the amount of my bill, but I didn't ask to see the receipt, so if the restaurant owner made a mistake in his favor, it may be due to my negligence.

04/03/2026: A family atmosphere, a boss who has always put her heart into it, more than 35 years at her age of 72—that takes some doing! Criticism can be easy. The waiter(s) are friendly and pleasant. The cook changes because the staff are dinosaurs in this profession.

09/02/2026: I changed my rating due to the owner's aggressive behavior. Initially, I gave it 3/5, which isn't a bad rating.
Personally, I was really disappointed with the pizzas.
I don't think the quality of the cheese was good, especially the Norci cheese.
The crust was thin, as was the topping.
Parking is paid nearby unless you park near Aldi, which doesn't necessarily mean they charge; these are city parking spaces.

28/03/2026: The service was more than perfect for a table of 14 people. Excellent pizzas.
29/10/2025: We had two vegetarian pizzas, a glass of wine, and an iced tea for €33. The pizza was one of the tastiest we've had in a long time. The owner was very friendly and does everything himself. The atmosphere is okay, the decor simple. The only thing that bothered us was the many small fruit flies.

08/02/2026: Friendly welcome, simple but tasty food, pleasant service.
04/01/2026: We were very disappointed. Upon arrival, we asked if it was possible to turn up the heat. We were told no, and in a rather unpleasant manner. Two people were eating wearing hats, and we had to put our coats back on to finish our meal. There were no hand dryers in the restrooms; we had to ask for them. Again, the answer was positive, but not friendly. Not a word of apology (it happens!). The young waitress was very friendly, which was not the case for the other waitress (the manager?). The meat was tough, the fries were soggy and overcooked (reheated?). Some of the potatoes in the morbiflette were undercooked. We didn't dare say anything because we were embarrassed for our friend from Autun who had accompanied us and recommended this restaurant. The pizza, however, was very good. The apple tart was very average (store-bought?). We do not recommend this establishment. It's a shame for the young waitress who was doing her best to make up for it! The setting is very pretty, though.

31/08/2024: We come regularly. Saturday evening at 9:20 p.m. we were turned away like trash by an arrogant waitress whom we ended up calling out because this person ignored us several times while we were waiting in front of the restaurant. Several tables were available but we were refused access because supposedly there was no longer a single table of 2. While all the tables are tables of 2.... in short.... very disappointed with this behavior. 2 loyal CUSTOMERS lost despite the good food. Fortunately in Chalon there is choice and still friendly and respectful people.

Pâté en croute, veal paupiette with rice and mushroom sauce, and a basic flan without much flavor, a zero Coke and a coffee not even offered.
Total 23.90.

Too bad I didn't feel comfortable.

01/11/2024: Nous avons voulu rééssayer une énième fois les pizzas lorsque nous avions des amis, et encore une fois déçu.
Ingrédients de mauvaise qualité et pâte avec aucun goût et cramée.
De plus, le pizzaiolo n'est tellement pas sympathique que l'on a pas envi de revenir. Même pas capable de dire un bonsoir lorsqu'on arrive.
Nous ne reviendrons plus 🤮.

So yes, the pizzas are really loaded with toppings and cheap. It's true. We cannot say the opposite.
But even on a pizza, and perhaps especially on a pizza, you need a little quality for the ingredients, otherwise it's just not great.
Concerning the welcome and the atmosphere, we will describe them as rustic.
And then the desserts... Misery... The profiteroles that come out of the cheap Metro freezers, which you are nevertheless charged quite a lot for.
Pizzas, if you are hungry, are cheap, but without pleasure. On the other hand, desserts, no, it's shameful.
