04/06/2026: This evening was particularly important to us as it was my partner's birthday. Once again, this exceptional couple of restaurateurs played a major role in making it a resounding success. In the kitchen, the chef was impeccable, without a single misstep, and the service was simply perfect from beginning to end. It wasn't our first visit, but this experience deserves special mention because the quality of the welcome, the cuisine, and the attention to detail was truly remarkable. A huge thank you to the entire team for this wonderful evening that we won't soon forget.

Thank you for providing a bag for us to take home our leftover appetizers. The shrimp and mussels were delicious. The verbena tea was a real treat.

21/08/2026: There was a mistake right from the start with the order. I had to eat my starter alone. The real failure was that the potatoes in the truffade were undercooked (al dente). What a shame, such a rookie mistake. The bill was quite high considering the disappointing dish. My comment, made as soon as I tasted the food, was completely ignored.

25/08/2026: Restaurant near Place Jaude, the service is impeccable (the "bearded" waiter 😊 was very friendly and respectful), the food is very, very good and the presentation is beautiful. I recommend it 100%. We will be back!!

14/08/2026: I got food poisoning after eating a so-called "Nicoise salad"—it was just lettuce, a few tomatoes, and a small piece of tuna. My symptoms lasted two days, with fever and severe diarrhea.

12/08/2026: The service was impeccable, there was no wait, and the dining area was very bright. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with my beef tartare with pesto. The potatoes were too oily for my taste, and the salad was over-dressed. But perhaps someone else would have liked it more. What a shame.

04/08/2026: As a group of 5 who all ordered a different dish: "spectacular" is all we could say about the food and it fell really short of what would've truly felt right to say. From the Risotto Porcini through the Fusilli au Pesto, Raviolli Ricotta, Spaghetti Tartufo and Pizza Capra all the way to the vanilla gelatto we were delighted. My sister and I are particularily picky about food and never agree on anything, but we had to on the fact that if we were staying anywhere closer for vacation we'd come back to this place for lunch *without a doubt* at least once more. Service was also remarkable; two of the waiters communicated with us really kindly in three different languages (they both said they struggle with spanish but I was very pleasantly surprised they could speak some of it at all!), food serving was quick even though it was a bit late for lunchtime and the environment was really quiet and comfy which we really appreciated. Overall one of the best experiences I've ever had in a restaurant in a very long time and the single best in my stay in France (I was in Paris in early July and this place beats every experience there by a mile). Thank you so much once again!

29/03/2026: First of all, the staff were very friendly... a lovely owner... and traditional cuisine with generous portions. We ate very well, enjoying the truffade and charcuterie. The only slight drawback was the very expensive wine, but that's just my personal opinion, and I highly recommend this establishment.

15/02/2026: For Valentine's Day, we were worried our evening would be noisy and crowded, but not at all! We had a wonderful evening. The food was excellent, and the waitresses were lovely. The children's menu for our 5-year-old daughter was very generous and delicious! Our fondues were incredible too! I highly recommend it! Thank you for this wonderful discovery.

24/04/2026: Yes, yes, if you place your order by phone, the remote control will only be prepared when you arrive, and you'll have to wait a long time, 45 minutes or even 1 to 2 hours. Why doesn't Luc ask one of his friends to help him? If you're tired of waiting, I suggest you go to the chip shop "Le Palais de la Frite" in Thumeries. You'll see that it's much faster there. Otherwise, Luc is friendly and welcoming.

02/09/2026: €5 for a half-full glass served by a waiter who seemed to be bothering us during his shift. I felt like I was imposing myself; it was unpleasant and rather paradoxical when you come looking for a relaxing moment.

18/08/2026: We came as a family. A very pleasant time; we were very surprised by the quality of the food. Almost all of us ordered the veal breast confit with cumin, which was delicious. We highly recommend it!
