20/02/2026: What a fantastic find this little wine bar and shop is! They also serve delicious light meals. We had a wonderful evening in this welcoming and friendly place. We discovered some truly lovely wines and appreciated the owner's expert advice and detailed descriptions. He has real expertise and knows his wines inside and out. Thank you for this delightful tasting experience. We enjoyed the food and drinks as much as the perfect balance of cozy and convivial atmosphere, right down to the well-chosen music that wasn't too loud—just right for comfortable conversation. In short, my only regret is having walked past so many times without ever going in! 🙂 I will definitely recommend this wine shop to everyone I know!

16/02/2026: What a wonderful discovery this establishment was, brimming with flavors and giving us the opportunity to taste excellent wines selected by the owner. We had a fantastic evening where Christophe shared his passion and knowledge of wine. The platters offered were very generous, varied, and paired perfectly with the wines. The prices are quite reasonable and make it easy to indulge. I highly recommend it and we will definitely return.

28/02/2026: Haven’t been wowed by restaurant food in a long time but the tomato dish was out of this world! The fish dish was also excellent. The rest of the dishes were well made. Service was good - not as flawless and can be a bit awkward at times. Update: Gave this restaurant really high ratings after we ate there in 2024. Tried to book again for our trip to Lyon in April. They asked us the usual question about dietary restriction. I gave the usual response that one of us (out of four!) cannot eat all kinds of seafood, which was the same thing I told them in 2024 and they were able to accommodate. Surprisingly, this time they rejected our reservation request saying they cannot accommodate our dietary restriction. Then why ask the question in the first place? If you don’t wish to adjust your menu then say so from the start so as not to waste both our time.

It's a shame that the service, which aims to be personalized, veers into dogma: despite its undeniable strengths, the experience feels constrained, both in the kitchen and the dining room. Here, protocol is strictly followed—not a step out of line, not even a piece of bread before the appetizer.

28/02/2026: Avoid at all costs. Despite the very pleasant welcome and simple, family atmosphere, the chicken liver appetizer with crayfish sauce was very good, and the sauce was genuinely homemade. Up to that point, everything was fine; but things quickly went downhill with the arrival of the pork tenderloin and its Dauphinoise potatoes. Recognizing the pork tenderloin in its compacted timbale form is a challenge; the sauce is unmistakably a ready-made one, completely tasteless except for a splash of vinegar. A few stray chestnut slices are mixed in… the promised mushrooms must have gone to the forest because there were none. The Dauphinoise potatoes seem to have forgotten they're supposed to be cooked with béchamel sauce; a thin layer of cream binds together bland, ungratined potatoes. The final blow comes with dessert: the pink praline tart! A horribly sweet, pinkish mush drips onto a frozen pastry base, its flavor certainly not hinting at the pralines. Inedible! €38 plus the wine, which I won't even mention (but it'll be my constant companion in the form of a headache!). What a shame! What a disappointment. The young woman who served me was charming, and her musical tastes—Brel and Brassens—combined with good food would have been a delight. Bad choice!

01/03/2026: Impossibly small, with an almost camouflaged doorway, this is probably my favourite bouchon in Lyon. The menu is just as compact as the space but the owners will keep everything flowing with good humour and excellent, anticipatory service. A starter of snails in a garlic cream sauce is rich and savoury, while their salade Lyonnaise comes laden with lardons and a wobbly poached egg. Move on to perfectly grilled bavette or - if you dare - tablier de sapeur with sauce gribiche, a square of honeycomb tripe crumbed and fried, created a wonderful texture well complimented by the tangy vinegar-rich sauce. Desserts are homely and include a wonderful creme caramel and chocolate mousse cake, but I was less enthused about their massive (and dry) baba au rhum. I can't wait to get back here.

23/02/2026: An authentic experience in this traditional Lyonnais bistro that seems frozen in time. The dishes are uncompromising and bold, the flavors are intense, and it's truly satisfying. Highly recommended.

16/02/2026: €28 for half a dry andouillette sausage that wasn't even cooked in the sauce. Over €20 for barely 100g of poorly cut flank steak. There are countless bouchons in Lyon, and I don't understand at all how this one has been successful. A tourist trap in all its glory.
