23/03/2025: I chose this pizzeria due to the positive reviews, however I was disappointed. Small pizzas and high prices. Pizza base rough like a cutlet.

20/03/2025: Given the price of €15/16 per pizza, I was expecting something incredible. So here we are, ordering two pizzas to take away. Arriving at home we open the boxes and the surprise, already very small pizzas, much smaller than the pizza box (I remember the price between 15/16€). Very thin crust pizzas ok when the topping is generous but this is not the case because it is non-existent. Tiny pizza that dries very quickly, few toppings. Just see the photos Edit in response: actually when we looked at the photos we said to ourselves that we had been fooled by the size of the pizzas which were clearly not 28cm. But that doesn't solve the problem of lack of filling either. When we eat pizzas we never manage to finish them, here we finished them without any problem because they were small

23/02/2026: A typical Lyonnais bistro, we had a great time with friends. There are several starters, a main course, and several desserts as well. We ate very well and the atmosphere was friendly!

22/02/2026: A typical, unpretentious Lyonnais bistro. We filled in for a table of 12. The appetizers and charcuterie were served in salad bowls for everyone. We were able to quickly sample everything (by the time we'd washed our hands, the salad bowls had been cleared away, and the charcuterie was just what the other 10 people had left). The main course was very good and generous; I just think my neighbor at the next table was forgotten regarding the side dish for his butcher's cut, unless the small individual gratin dish was meant for two. The cervelle de canut (a cheese spread) was very spicy; it's a shame it wasn't offered plain. Finally, regarding dessert, it would be better to serve the flan in slices for each person. We had one flan (the size of a loaf pan) for 12 people (the slices were thin, especially when some people helped themselves generously), while a table of four at the back of the room, facing the street, received the same flan. The prunes were delicious, as was the compote, but again it was impossible to have more, the salad bowls were quickly collected by the waitress...Our table neighbors were charming and contributed to making our time enjoyable.

23/02/2026: A great place to experience a different culture; the dishes are even prepared right in front of you, and the portions are very generous. There's some nice background music. It's connected to a shop across the street where you can find similar products. Thanks to the team who welcomed us.

25/12/2025: A really great bar! While passing through Lyon, it was recommended to us by a shopkeeper (Faguo 👋🏻) who described it as his favorite spot. I can see why: the terrace was packed even in the middle of winter, the atmosphere was friendly, and the staff were lovely. Very pleasant!

04/11/2025: I'm currently on vacation in Lyon and at the Opéra Étoile playing pool. I stumbled upon this place by chance, just because they had a pool table, and it turned out this bar was perfect for me! The waiter was fantastic, the beer was excellent, and most importantly, THE MUSIC! Lots of nu metal; I thought it was my playlist—the soundtrack of the century! As soon as I'm back in Lyon, I'm coming back here!

07/07/2025: Genuinely some of the worst food I’ve ever had. The food was almost pure fat and was very expensive. Was a very memorable meal for all the wrong reasons. Food took a long time to come (ordered the prefix menu). The service was extremely snobby and didn’t speak english. Somehow they couldn’t understand the google translate to french either and brought a well done piece of lamb when I asked for medium rare. Surprised they would let a dish like that leave the kitchen - don’t let the pictures fool you! Given the reputation of food in Lyon this was more than a disappointment and I’d go as far to say it was an embarrassment to the city. The only way it could have been worse is if I got food poisoned but thats impossible because nothing edible was served!

26/06/2025: It's impossible to miss its purple storefront, both elegant and unique, a foretaste of what awaits you inside. At Albert, the cuisine is refined, creative, and masterful, with dishes full of meaning and seasonality. The chef offers a personal and modern interpretation of the product, without ever overdoing it. An intimate atmosphere, attentive service, and true consistency from start to finish. A discreet gem in the 1st arrondissement... that fully deserves to be in the spotlight.

11/03/2026: The 80s decor is very appealing, but what was on the plate was far less so! Duck breast (200g) and dauphinoise potatoes... I had to ask for the potato to be replaced as it was inedible (boiled potatoes, no flavor, and no cream). The fries were better. Thank goodness. As for the 200g of duck breast... well, I think that was a rip-off. The dishes on the menu are of poor quality. The same goes for the desserts. Some dishes were also unavailable. In short, a restaurant to avoid!
