22/07/2026: After nine years, I returned to this institution… The chef has changed, but the owner, Giles, remains at his post. What can I say except that I thoroughly enjoyed the €25 frog leg menu: starter, frog legs with fries, a quarter-liter of wine, and a coffee. One wishes there were many more establishments of this caliber.

Caesar salad with fresh, raw tuna for her and sea bass fillet for me. Delicious.
Rum baba and vacherin for dessert: succulent.
Fast service, impeccable waitress and waiters.
One suggestion: it would be nice to offer wines by the carafe.

21/07/2026: We had an excellent evening at this restaurant! The food was delicious, the staff incredibly friendly, and the prices very reasonable. We happily return every time.
12/07/2026: Excellent welcome and service! The servers were particularly pleasant. The place isn't very appealing at first glance, with the terrace set back from the street and the old-school interior decor. The pizzas are good and well-made, but honestly, the price isn't justified. At nearly €18 a pizza, I expected an exceptional pizza with quality ingredients! The raw zucchini and the dough weren't to my liking. I admit I had a little trouble choosing a pizza given the different ingredients offered in each one. The value for money needs improvement.

24/11/2025: A perfect neighborhood restaurant in the middle of a residential no-man's-land, in the heart of Lyon's 8th arrondissement medical district, near the Natecia Clinic and the funeral home district!
A great little neighborhood restaurant, just the way we like them, with regulars at the bar and a bartender who creates a lively atmosphere: darts are on the agenda.
A warm welcome and atmosphere, and good, simple, homemade food: a set menu and a glass of wine 🍷 all for under €25.
Thank you to La Maison du Petit Régal for the comfort and this welcome meal on a rainy day, an hour before attending a funeral. Highly recommended!
