25/03/2026: The atmosphere was too noisy. Our neighbors were too noisy and banging on the tables. Thanks to the waiter for telling them to be quiet.

25/03/2026: The service was clearly not up to the price, and there was a lot of noise; thankfully the waiter corrected them.

24/11/2025: A perfect neighborhood restaurant in the middle of a residential no-man's-land, in the heart of Lyon's 8th arrondissement medical district, near the Natecia Clinic and the funeral home district! A great little neighborhood restaurant, just the way we like them, with regulars at the bar and a bartender who creates a lively atmosphere: darts are on the agenda. A warm welcome and atmosphere, and good, simple, homemade food: a set menu and a glass of wine 🍷 all for under €25. Thank you to La Maison du Petit Régal for the comfort and this welcome meal on a rainy day, an hour before attending a funeral. Highly recommended!

02/02/2026: The opening hours need updating; I cycled 4km to find one open on Monday (and checked the opening hours on Google Maps, which are less than 5 weeks old), only to find it closed...👎

07/03/2026: The chef is the GOAT, his pizzas were delicious, the place smells great, and the atmosphere is warm. Without a doubt, go there!

14/01/2026: An unusual place, excellent value for money, kindness and a big smile. It's good to rediscover simplicity and originality.

17/04/2026: I didn't like the savory waffles, but the crepes were good. The service was adequate; we ate inside, and it felt more like a bar counter than a proper dining room. Perhaps eating outside would have changed my rating, or perhaps not.

08/12/2025: First time at this kebab shop with my friend this past Saturday at lunchtime. It looked very inviting and seemed pretty good at first. What a mistake... two days later we ended up with a terrible case of food poisoning. We couldn't get out of bed, had abdominal cramps from vomiting so much (I destroyed what I was using as a toilet), and were severely dehydrated, practically needing an ambulance. In short, avoid this place.

30/03/2026: The restaurant La Belle Époque welcomed us this afternoon, March 30th, after a funeral service held at the nearby funeral home, to share a drink with family and friends. We were very pleased with both the warm welcome we received and the refreshments that followed. A big thank you to the owners for their kindness and attentiveness. We will return to La Belle Époque as soon as possible to enjoy the restaurant for lunch or dinner. Michel Moulin and all those who accompanied us.

26/03/2026: Standard food, neither good nor bad, it does the job for lunch (if you're not in a hurry...). However, the service and atmosphere of the restaurant were deplorable! The men there were all unfriendly. We won't be back!

23/03/2026: I ordered a kebab meal and was served by the Uber Eats delivery driver because the person preparing the order had been on the phone since I arrived. Yet I had my usual routine and I liked this kebab. I'm not giving it one star because it's not worth one. What a shame.
