06/06/2026: Finally, I understand why this restaurant is always so popular! We tried six tapas today. The shrimp were excellent, and the tuna with peppers was very fresh, light, and perfect for the season. The service was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. A wonderful discovery; we'll definitely be back! 😊

15/05/2026: We wanted to go to this bakery for breakfast. I was very disappointed with the place. The tables were filthy, and the floor was the same... it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for days. For a bakery, this is unacceptable. I don't even want to imagine what the kitchen must be like. There were crumbs everywhere on the chairs. The chairs were so loose, the screws were so tight I almost fell off. The coffee was truly awful, like those super-sweet Nestlé sachets, completely undrinkable. The pastries were passable. And the cashier was about as friendly as a barn door... if you don't want to work, stay home. Thanks to the gentleman (a customer) who helped me carry my tray back to the register since I had a lot of things in my hands. She certainly shouldn't have moved an inch to help me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

28/07/2026: An unusual dish, homemade dessert, fairly quick service, but the taste wasn't there.

16/07/2026: I chose this place because of its late opening time, advertised as 3 pm. I arrived at 2 pm just as they were closing up. I pointed out the closing time clearly displayed on the storefront and their website, only to receive the firm response, "Well, we're closed now." This behavior clashes with the friendly atmosphere they described. They call it a neighborhood restaurant, but I'll leave it to the neighborhood. The death of the "small shop," where only fast food will survive. What a shame.

02/08/2026: I bought a pan bagnat for a hike…not good at all. Two slices of tomato, half an egg, and barely 50g of flaked, completely unseasoned tuna. The bread was stale because it was either improperly frozen or refrozen. Horrible.

26/07/2026: We were very disappointed with our visit to Paul. The cakes were served piled on top of each other in a box, which completely crushed and damaged them before we could even eat them. It's a real shame...

05/08/2026: Always good and quick service. I went to Bachut and Mermoz schools for my entire education, so I went very often and it was impeccable for the price.

04/08/2026: Having to speak to a machine to order when there's no one there takes away the friendly atmosphere, and unfortunately, the pizzas aren't very good, which is a shame. It's not as good as a real pizzeria. Forza Italia!

13/08/2026: This restaurant is the best I've ever eaten at. They have generous portions and it's not expensive. I had a giga taco and it kept me full all day. Plus, I only paid €6! Hats off to them! I give them ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

26/06/2026: The welcome was disastrous: the waiter took your order and told you he'd already sold half the menu. As a result, only one salad and two main dishes were left. The food was good, but the welcome and service were appalling.

26/03/2026: Standard food, neither good nor bad, it does the job for lunch (if you're not in a hurry...). However, the service and atmosphere of the restaurant were deplorable! The men there were all unfriendly. We won't be back!

22/10/2025: Opening hours are incorrect, today wednesday 20:00 it was closed.

11/06/2026: Due to the rail strike, my train was cancelled, and I cancelled my reservation. Having prepaid, the fare conditions do not provide for a refund. I contacted the hotel by email to reschedule, but without success, as my cancellation was made too late. Since SNCF only notifies its customers 48 hours before departure, it's difficult to anticipate a cancellation! My scheduled business meeting has been postponed until early July, so I will avoid booking a room in an Accor hotel. I am also considering cancelling a pending reservation for Paris for July 2nd and 3rd. At over €200 per night, I was hoping for some kind of compensation from the Accor group; oh well!

11/06/2026: Quality budget hotel where everything essential works. Not the wifi which is miserable. Almost enough hangers, hooks and shelves. The shower hanger could be better. Thanks for the good breakfast. Perhaps worth noting that there are two Ibis Part-Dieu hotels in Lyon. We went first to the wrong one. Both are within walking distance from the Part-Dieu railway station.

30/07/2026: I ordered a maxi kebab from this place, €20 in total, but I only ate the fries. Very disappointed, undercooked, too much sauce in the sandwich, and it was soggy. I wasted €20. I don't recommend it. With all due respect.

07/08/2026: Still as good as ever. Even with the change of ownership. I recommend it. The best kebab in the 8th arrondissement. Maybe even better.

05/08/2026: A very disappointing experience. It was a chicken kebab, and the spit wasn't even turning when I arrived, with completely raw pieces of meat sticking out. The result: a terrible stomach ache afterward. To make matters worse, the service was frankly appalling, and they sell alcohol, making it feel more like a bar than a proper kebab shop. Avoid it!

24/07/2026: Today, July 24th, 2026, I went to McDonald's. I wanted a Royal Bacon to go, but it was inedible. The meat was dry and burnt, and seemed to have been cooked, recooked, and recooked again. I threw it in the trash. I've always been disappointed by this kind of food. I absolutely cannot recommend this establishment! Avoid it at all costs! L.DI PASTENA
