17/09/2024: Excellent Italian restaurant, stands out from other restaurants in Villefranche.
Very warm and polite staff, impeccable service. If I had to choose just one word: authentic. It's a restaurant where you feel good, which doesn't take itself too "seriously", which doesn't try to make it complicated for nothing, nevertheless the restaurateurs who work here are professionals.
The “grocery store” corner is a nice addition.

The only downside is the boss who speaks badly to his waitress in front of us before leaving, which is regrettable.

Le service est très rapide et le restaurant, globalement propre et accueillant.
Un bémol : il pourrait y avoir un accompagnement jusqu’à la table pour le service, au restaurant, et un peu plus de sourires, de la part du personnel.
Le prix est correct pour la qualité.

What more could you ask for?
25/10/2024: But what happened to the Golden Pheasant? Well, the welcome is OK, but the food is very average. The fish was overcooked, the cook sent me back a rare one. I finally finished the evening without eating. The hamburger chicken was dry, the sweetbreads were overcooked as well as the scallops. In short, the cooking is not controlled and nothing justifies the final price. Sorry, it was much better before.

27/12/2023: The restaurant appears to have been taken over by the manager of the Fast Mahal. Small, fairly varied buffet (rice, cooked vegetables, lentils, donuts, meats), attentive and very accommodating service.
The dishes are quite good, less liked the meat rolls and the beef sauce. Also be careful to cover your hair when cooking.
04/12/2023: I love this simple, exotic restaurant where the atmosphere is pleasant and family-friendly and the food is exquisite.

26/08/2024: Excellent experience at the Wengue Lounge in Villefranche-sur-Saône! Despite my late arrival, the welcome was particularly warm and attentive. The staff were very friendly and immediately put me at ease. As for the meal, it was flawless: tasty dishes, well presented and made with quality products. Even at a late hour, the freshness of the dishes and the elegance of the presentation were impeccable. An address that I highly recommend for the quality of the service and the finesse of the cuisine. A very nice discovery!

13/08/2024: The Liberty's hotel is completely atypical. Located above a pub, which you have to cross to access the stairs, the rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished. And above all, despite the busy street below and the pub, they are super quiet and soundproof!
We stayed there with our 4 year old daughter and we had a great time. The team is smiling and available, the breakfast varied and plentiful.
Perfect all round!

Il était excellent !
Nous reviendrons
17/09/2024: L'accueil est toujours très sympa, le guacamole fait minute et les soupes notamment sont délicieux, comme tout ce que j'ai mangé dans ce bistro latino. Je recommande le Capricho où les plats faits maison et la musique ambiante font voyager en Amérique latine.
