16/03/2026: Hello, this was our family's first time. We received a very warm welcome and the buffet was excellent. There was less choice than some all-you-can-eat buffets, but it was more than enough (and very tasty). We had a really great time and it was a fantastic discovery.

27/12/2025: Passing through Chalon-sur-Saône, we discovered this restaurant thanks to a friend's recommendation. We had come for just a drink, but thanks to Carl's exceptional welcome, we ended up spending the whole evening there! We enjoyed the famous homemade Burgundy snails, as well as the gratin bourguignon and tagliatelle with morels... everything was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable, very professional, and warm. An exceptional experience we won't forget!

20/12/2025: After what I think was five years without my last visit, I was delighted to be back today. Nothing has changed, much to my delight! I was able to enjoy my famous lasagna again: still as delicious as ever!! The accompanying salad was a delight, and the bread and desserts were all excellent. The welcome was as warm and friendly as ever, with smiles always on the staff. A pure joy 😘 Thank you for having us for lunch today.

29/03/2026: Overall, the pizzas looked good. But as for the pasta… it's the first time I've been served a "carbonara" with cream and ham… The lasagna didn't have béchamel sauce, and basically, the pasta dishes were hardly representative of Italy. The service was generally efficient. We had simply asked them to turn the music down because of hearing problems and hypersensitivity. After a while, I asked again because we hadn't noticed any difference, and the waiter told me it had been turned down and left without addressing the issue. I had to go outside for 20 minutes because the noise was too much.

16/03/2026: Having family in Chalon-sur-Saône, we regularly come to this restaurant because the manager is so friendly. He always takes the time to chat with us. In addition, the menu is homemade from appetizer to dessert, using fresh, seasonal ingredients. He always accommodates my vegetarian needs by creating a special menu for me, which I greatly appreciate. There's always an excellent local wine to complement the meal. It's a restaurant I highly recommend.

07/03/2026: Passing through Chalon-sur-Saône, we trusted the positive reviews of this restaurant and booked a table. We also had a delightful time enjoying a unique and delicious evening menu: two-salmon terrine, chicken with Vin Jaune sauce and morels, and apple tart with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Everything is homemade. Authentic service and cuisine, a good local wine, and to top it all off, a genuine conversation with the owner's family. We highly recommend this establishment to both visitors and locals who are lucky enough to have Mont Blanc nearby!

08/12/2025: Thanks to some excellent recommendations, we stopped with friends for lunch at this traditional bistro, which is definitely worth a visit. We received a very warm and genuine welcome. The staff was efficient and professional, and the food was delicious. The service was well-organized. The photos of the dishes accurately reflect what's on the restaurant's website. A great place to remember.

His new tapas bar concept allows him to be even closer to his customers and offer wine recommendations. The dining room provides the perfect setting for a gourmet evening, thanks to the quality of the dishes on offer! A must-try address in Chalon-sur-Saône.

07/03/2026: We were on our way to Starbucks when we passed by number 44. We decided to give it a try; the decor is nice, the welcome is warm, and the waitresses are friendly. The cakes are homemade, which is a plus compared to the big chains, and they're really delicious. However, the drinks were a disaster: a tasteless coffee, a smoothie that tasted more like water than a smoothie, and when you make a proper chai latte in a tea room, you infuse the tea directly in the milk. What we got was nothing more than tea with a drop of milk in it, and frankly, it had absolutely no flavor. I find it really disappointing that for the same price as a big chain just 10 meters away, they offer smaller drinks of lower quality. This is definitely the one thing they need to improve to get a 100% rating because everything else is worthwhile.
