20/04/2026: Great bar for Guinness and whiskeys in the city center. The terrace isn't very big, but the interior is. You can play darts and watch live sports.
The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, very pleasant.

28/06/2026: I stumbled upon this place by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food at a reasonable price. Lots of locals, which is always a good sign. The kitchen is open to view; it's family-run, and I'd gladly return.
23/05/2026: A complete work of art. At lunchtime, a diverse crowd gathers, from American tourists to French tradesmen. The chef works tirelessly in full view of everyone – the kitchen is visible – processing the orders. So it can take a while. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable, as the atmosphere was excellent. The food is solid. The service was efficient but friendly and efficient.

13/09/2026: Avoid this bar at all costs. Terrible hygiene. The best place to catch foodborne illness. The drunk bartender said offensive things he couldn't remember the next day, with a mocking smile.
22/08/2026: I discovered this bar with Claude one night when I was lost. He was incredibly attentive, serving me more than I needed; the rest is a blur. Unfortunately, the service deteriorated over time. Which makes sense, since I was still lost and ultimately didn't belong there. Harsh words led me down a completely different path, that of the ICU, where the daily struggle for survival is incredibly difficult. I should never have set foot in that place. Verdict: if you're a woman alone and sadness is eating you up inside, steer clear.

The concept of the unique menu is fantastic.
The hosts are incredibly attentive to their guests. It felt like being cooked for by good friends. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious.
We were disappointed that it was closed on our second day.
We will definitely plan another visit.
Highly recommended!

18/03/2026: While in Chalon for a school trip, the wine bar on the square provided a fantastic evening for about twenty students! The bartender was generous, very friendly, accommodating, and welcoming!

14/05/2026: The salon is very nicely decorated, the managers are friendly, but there's not really a great atmosphere and you feel a bit watched by the person behind the counter. The products are good, but the prices are a bit high (€3.30 for a syrup made with water because they insist you buy mineral water), which is a shame.

While dining in, you can sometimes be spared and even have pleasant surprises at the end of the evening with generous ice creams, but when ordering takeout, requests are completely ignored: items are forgotten (drinks and milkshakes), and fries aren't even filled...
The person at the counter is moody and doesn't seem to know where they are, and several times, on weeknights, I've had to wait 40 minutes in a "fast-food" place for a measly Happy Meal. It's a shame, especially considering the competition that manages to do so much better!
