Dirty restaurant room (floor, kennels, screws on the ground, screen and baby chair right in the middle of the tables), while there are only 2 customers on a Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
Parquet all warped and rotted.
Chairs to review.
The waitress seems very busy on her phone even though we have been waiting for the menu for a while.
Questionable cleanliness of dishes.
I won't come back again.
27/11/2024: Friendly waiter, good dishes, well-filled cheese naan and tasty cumin rice, however the general state of the restaurant needs to be reviewed, which is a shame

17/08/2024: Old hotel with charm and well located in the center of Chalon but the rooms, service and breakfast are absolutely not 4 stars.
17/08/2024: Smell of damp in the room; ineffective air conditioning which must date from the 1980s; few power outlets; uncomfortable spring bedding; paid parking even though customer service assured me that it was included in the price of the night. Restaurant ; vegetable pasta for 25 euros. Certainly a 4* hotel in the 80s but not anymore these days. Very disappointing stay.

25/09/2024: A big fan of Cheese Cake which is a rare commodity in Chalon, we have finally found or tasted the best!
18/09/2024: Rich choice of teas (and coffees), delicious homemade orange cake and courteous welcome, all in a charming, cozy setting with a soft and jazzy musical atmosphere. This first visit will not be the last... The "44" (Grand'rue) is a beautiful establishment for a gourmet break. I highly recommend. Kind regards.

11/09/2024: We wanted mussels and fries, and we were superbly welcomed, the mussels and fries were excellent and fresh. I highly recommend we will come back.

02/09/2024: Very bad experience, we wanted to order a coffee and we were told to wait because their priorities were to do the dishes and take care of the bar so we left.
26/08/2024: More than twenty minutes of waiting to take a drink order at 6 p.m. while the terrace is only half full... Fortunately there are other places in Chalon to have a drink...

02/09/2024: Nothing that's real. I order double tacos and a kebab, I end up with 2 "kebabs" finally panini because I don't call it a kabab given the quantity of meat...not the right sauce. In reality, it's too much, it's taking people for idiots and taking their money. Once I'm willing to go twice, but unfortunately it's been quite a few times that you're not serious.
12/08/2024: Disastrous order, forgetting cans, forgetting a plate, having to turn around after 10 km, plate without sauce, dry breaded chicken, ultra dry fried schnitzel not cooked enough. Total disrespect for customers. Disappointing

08/09/2024: Frankly disappointed. The quality has really declined and the prices are exorbitant compared to what is on the plate. Paying a children's menu 11.90 for frozen fries a slice of herta ham maybe or not with 2 leaves of salad and a pompote it's really exaggerated the same for the canon a mountain of salad without sauce and 3 slices of toast with epoisses 3 thin slices of chorizo and 3 cherry tomatoes. I won't come back and prefer to go a little further. And cleaning the floor and toilets a little more often wouldn't be a luxury....

31/08/2024: Le patron et son employé sont absolument méprisants.
Nous n'y sommes jamais retournés. On a l'impression de les faire suer. Même à emporter nous ne prenons pas par crainte de ce qu'ils pourraient mettre dans nos pizzas.
Lorsque l'on passe devant, le patron nous regarde d'une façon irrespectueuse, comme si nous lui avions fait la pire crasse! Excusez-nous d'être venus dîner chez vous cher restaurateur!
Bref j'appelle çà de l’auto sabotage...
Dernier petit détail qui n'est pas des moindres, son employé ne supporte pas que l'on puisse payer avec des chèque déj! Selon lui, "il ne faut pas aller au restaurant quand on n'a pas les moyens de se payer une pizza’.
Voilà voilà....
29/08/2024: Good food but cook (boss) and waiter as unpleasant as possible!! We were missing 1 dish out of the 9 ordered, the waiter huffed and raised his arms in front of us to express his fed up, not a smile, not a commercial gesture. The basics need to be reviewed…

14/12/2024: Tout était parfait ! Nous avons super bien mangé ! Des frites maisons , une pièce du boucher excellente ! Un pavé de saumon 👍Un tiramisu pour conclure tout ça ! Le meilleur que j'ai pu manger. Une mousse au chocolat originale qui surprend nos papilles 👍Bravo au cuistot ! On reviendra c'est certain.
Ça devient rare de trouver des endroits atypiques où on mange bien !
05/10/2024: Un endroit où l’on peut se restaurer sans hésiter.
Les frites maison sont vraiment excellentes,
La viande et notamment le filet de bœuf très tendre.
Un service agréable , des toilettes très propres on reviendra c'est certain

It’s very simple, we arrive, the owner is on video with friends, he continues as if we weren’t there…
As for food in 30 years I have never, ever eaten such a disgusting kebab
White dill sauce (not specified) cold meat, fried barely cooked, no difference between a classic sandwich and a maxi
On the other hand, for the note no problem there we find the 2 sizes of sandwich…
30€ for 2 menus at this price I recommend a brasserie or even a McDonald’s…

Pizza de saveur moyenne, café gourmand qui ne mérite pas son qualificatif , le serveur ne connaît pas les notions d'infusion et de tisane.....pour régler on nous demande d'aller chercher la note sur la table , bref grand manque de professionnalisme

06/09/2024: The decor is a little dated but the dishes are excellent, a real treat.
06/08/2024: I thought I would enjoy a Vietnamese dish, but when I read the menu, I was immediately disappointed. So I ordered the chef's cuttlefish, what a disappointment I had squid rings..
My daughter wanted swallow's nests after being informed by the owner that the swallow's nest is a plant but after verification it is bird mucus.
It's also very expensive!!! compared to the quality/price.
