29/08/2023: Very nice discovery. While passing through this pretty area, we stopped at Grill Saint Laurent. Pleasant welcome. The feeling of being in a family establishment. The menu is not huge which is good and the products are quality.
On our menu, Entrecôte S with excellent taste and extra tenderness.
The home fries are also very good. For dessert, homemade Profiteroles. Dish + wine by the glass + coffee for a very correct addition. Excellent value.
We'll come back.
23/08/2023: I had an XL vegetarian salad as a main course, €17.50. Excessive! Indeed a dominant salad, feta, a few slices of tomatoes. The watermelon advertised was almost non-existent, as for the mint, let's not talk about it. A salad without culinary preparation, without meat or fish: at this price, we expect something else! Disappointment.
However, the restaurant room is pleasant, as well as the staff.

02/03/2024: Neat interior, calm atmosphere with a well-stocked buffet and tasty dishes. We just regret the absence of plain rice, little fruit for dessert and no more toilet paper at 12:10 p.m.
15/02/2024: Dirty restaurant blatant lack of hygiene, undercooked dish and raw meat kept practically at room temperature, same for desserts...

23/04/2024: Excellent pizzas but an odious boss/cook who makes us understand that each customer is a nuisance. We are looked down upon when we ask if it is possible to have a table less in the draft.
Be careful to come early, customers have been kicked out because “it’s 1:10 p.m. we’re closed”.
10/04/2024: Very good lunch, the pizzas were very good :)
Only downside, the smell due to the open kitchen

Today we bought a millefeuille and a chocolate éclair but I think the pastries were a few days old given the dryness and taste.

16/03/2024: We stopped here because it was the only place at 2 p.m. to eat decently.
Since we were traveling, we arrived late, and this bakery had 2 daily specials left 😁! Perfect ! This saved us from having to eat heavy with the only kebab open around at that time haha 😅
We were very well received, the food was good for the price, it cost us €13.20 to enter, special of the day and a fruit salad for dessert and a drink 😁. This was served with a nice piece of bread!
We weren't hungry anymore afterward, so the doses were perfect 👌
So I recommend stopping there if you want to eat healthily at a reasonable price in town :)

No prices for aperitifs, wines, no dessert, no à la carte menu, no bread, etc, etc...
We were outside due to the sunny weather but the awning was broken, in full sun.
My wife arrived at the car and started to feel unwell.
We do not recommend it!!!
06/03/2024: Alright ! Very good value for money, all homemade. No complaints. Pleasant lunchtime with the family. 2 children and 2 adults €70 drinks included, we are pleasantly surprised

26/03/2024: This was the best meal I have eaten in three weeks in France, the starter was amazing, the steak with Roquefort sauce was excellent and the crème brulee and the panna cotta were a dream thanks to the chef and the very friendly waiter
23/03/2024: I was absolutely won over by this place. The staff happens to be very friendly and pleasant not to mention the dishes served. I only remember positive things from this experience in Chalon-sur-Saône, thank you very much!

08/03/2024: Ideal friendly setting and also welcomed by Amandine, always very smiling and very friendly. the welcome is very warm.
At lunchtime I had a steak raclette panini with fries and a very hearty Orangina, very very good.
I recommend to anyone looking for a little place to have a snack between noon and two

05/04/2024: A beautiful coffee shop with excellent specialty coffees and fantastic homemade cakes. The owner takes a lot of time to advise you on the choice of drinks. When you look at the cake you can taste that everything was baked with love by the owner. An absolute must when visiting Chalon-sur-Saône!
