31/05/2026: The welcome wasn't very pleasant. We waited a long time for our order to be taken. The woman was unpleasant, and the young gentleman was really unfriendly, even disrespectful. The older gentleman was more polite. But overall, the staff was rather unhelpful. It's a real shame because the food is good. The daily special isn't very varied; it's mainly the sauce that changes. Because of the bad atmosphere, we won't be back.

16/05/2026: A delightful surprise! We stayed at the Hôtel de Bourgogne, located just above the hotel, and had dinner at a random spot nearby, a no-frills brasserie frequented by locals. It was a pleasure to find refined cuisine made with quality ingredients: delicious and very fresh white fish and shrimp rillettes, foie gras and snails presented in an original way, and a piece of meat with Roquefort sauce. The classic desserts were well executed. A great find!

20/03/2026: I'm just passing through Mâcon, and I don't usually leave reviews, but I wanted to tell you this time: this restaurant is incredible! You can eat there without hesitation; the daily menu is comprehensive and inexpensive.

17/05/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience. I ordered a calzone that arrived with the dough still elastic and clearly undercooked inside. I pointed this out, and they offered to make it again… but unfortunately, the second one was exactly the same: raw dough and cold mozzarella inside. As a result, I simply couldn't eat my meal. There was no apology, no gesture of goodwill, and I was still charged for the dish even though the problem was obvious and acknowledged by the staff. To top it all off, the waitress offered us a digestif, even though we were having lunch with colleagues and had to go back to work afterward. In this kind of situation, a coffee, a discount, or simply not charging for an inedible dish would have been much more appropriate. It's really a shame, because the customer experience was clearly not up to standard. I'll even add that thanks for replying three months later! Not only did I have the courage to tell you to your face, but I did it twice!! And the response was, "Calzones are always complicated to cook." So your answer really makes me laugh!

16/05/2026: We had a wonderful time last night. The meal was delicious, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere very pleasant. The place is beautiful, and the outdoor courtyard is a bonus. The value for money is excellent, and the cocktails are superb. I highly recommend it.

23/05/2026: We had dinner one evening in May with beautiful, warm weather. Overall, everything went very well as the setting is exceptional and the service was perfect. The dishes were good but nothing special; we were disappointed by the gourmet coffee. Still, good value for money.

23/05/2026: Nice setting but chaotic service. You have to rush when ordering, but your food isn't served until 10:30 PM even though you arrived at 8:30 PM! When you ask how everything went and express your frustration with the slow service, the only response is "ah." I won't be back.
