27/04/2026: End of service, thank you to the staff for their patience. The place is magnificent, the desserts are huge and delicious.

25/04/2026: The location is fantastic, but that's where the positives end. The staff, admittedly at the end of the season, are unpleasant. The food is expensive and not very good.

17/04/2026: The food was excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed it! I highly recommend the vegetarian burger and the onion soup :) Prices are a bit high, though.

13/03/2026: A charming address, a magical place nestled among the fir trees and right on the slopes. Julie and her team are incredibly attentive, and it's pure bliss. A huge congratulations also to the Chef and his team in the kitchen; a culinary journey as beautiful as it is delicious. I had the pleasure of staying at this establishment last year, again this year, and my family trip is already planned for next year!

09/03/2026: The location is exceptional, the view of Mont Blanc from the rooms and terraces is magnificent. Everything is spacious and bright. A true ski-in/ski-out experience. Breakfast is very good with plenty of homemade cakes (freshly squeezed orange juice would have been a welcome addition, though). The evening menus are varied, alternating between fish and meat dishes. The cooking is perfect. We were always offered lovely desserts. Perhaps we would have appreciated a choice between two main courses. But we understand that you need to plan your supplies carefully, as you cook on-site with products that are most likely fresh. In any case, we felt a genuine desire to satisfy us and adapt to our tastes. All the staff are incredibly attentive. Julie, the manager, is very welcoming. She offers excellent advice, both about her hotel and the resort. We will most certainly return as soon as possible.

21/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome. The atmosphere is inviting. The staff are charming. We tried the fondue and tartiflette, and they were excellent. Highly recommended!

07/12/2025: The store was listed as open today (07/12/25) until 7pm. However, upon arrival, it was closed, and I therefore made the trip for nothing.

16/11/2025: The store and parking lot are well laid out, and the products are nice and not too expensive. The bottle recycling at the entrance is great, it's a shame the second one isn't working, and that there isn't a bin for emptying bottles that still have a little water in them.

26/02/2026: A top-notch mid-altitude restaurant, a must-try in Arc 1600. The service is excellent, both warm and professional. The manager was fantastic, offering us a table on a very busy lunchtime without a reservation… thank you! 🙏

23/02/2026: Excellent restaurant! They have everything you could want. And a nice bonus for parents: children can ski while being supervised by their parents. Highly recommended!

20/04/2026: The residence is very well located. The accommodation is a bit cramped (theoretically for 6, but in practice for 4 or 5 max). There are a lot of stairs to climb up and down, but the staff are very welcoming and professional.

20/04/2026: I love the place, but the person behind the bar on Saturday seemed bothered by having customers, and then, in a moment of weakness, I had the nerve to ask the price of a pint... The person in question completely lost it, yelling and showing me chalkboards that listed some prices, but not the price of a pint. So apparently, asking a price is unacceptable, and on top of being verbally attacked, I was supposed to sympathize because she was about to tell me how awful her day, her life, her customers are... I just came for a drink...

05/04/2026: Stopped for a drink after skiing, lovely to sit out in the sun with a glass of rosé for only 3€!!

14/03/2026: We tried this little restaurant in Les Arcs 1950, and it's fantastic! The dishes are well-prepared, and their homemade desserts are excellent. We'll definitely be back!

19/02/2026: Terrible experience at this restaurant, we came in a group of five for dinner and somehow all of us left disappointed we all ordered entrecôte thinking it was a safe bet, cutting into it was a workout. Chewy doesn’t even begin to describe it. When we complained to the waiter, he said it was butcher’s fault. I genuinely think one star is generous.

14/02/2026: A truly wonderful place! The dishes are delicious, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The setting is warm and inviting, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Special mention goes to the manager, who is absolutely fantastic: welcoming, professional, and attentive, he makes all the difference. I highly recommend Le Grenier des 5 Lacs!
