03/04/2024: Most enjoyable! Travelling down to the south of France over night in Rouen, Restaurant Les Capucines popped up on the radar as a potential 'good eats' venue. Advertised as a family restaurant, we received a warm welcome to a spacious dining area, slightly dated, but with a pleasant ambiance. Various options for 'le menu' that offered good value. Limited menu of seasonal selections (good, good), well prepared & presented, and most important, lovely flavours! If you are passing though, definitely worth a visit.

01/04/2024: Thanks to Emmanuelle Jary for introducing us to gems like at Nounoute. What happiness! A boss who does this job out of conviction and passion. She shares the addresses of these suppliers, places to discover and visit and good tips for saving. A delight for our taste buds… the dishes, desserts and even the wine from the pitcher are excellent. And his team is in his image, therefore efficient and adorable. Would not change a thing !! We'll be back soon 😉

04/04/2024: Traveling through this area from the U.S., and had a day to visit the beautiful town of Rouen. As luck had it, my wife and another couple stumbled into this small but wonderful pizza restaurant. The two young ladies were wonderful with their great service and our pizzas were great, too. Many thanks to you both for a wonderful lunch, and hope others will drop in to experience the same.

09/05/2024: Top service with welcoming servers. The rice pudding is one of the best ever eaten. No reservations possible, so if you want to eat on time, come a little before the first service.

The products were quality and refreshing. We loved their latte frio, a delicious iced latte. I highly recommend this place for a gourmet coffee break! ☕️✨

03/04/2024: Our experience at LA CALE restaurant in DIEPPE was mixed. The quality of the food was excellent, but we were disappointed not to find a children's menu available. In addition, a poster at the entrance to the restaurant made a tasteless joke about children, which deeply displeased our 8-year-old son and us as parents. We expressed our concern to the waitress, who explained that it was humor, but we didn't find it funny at all. We believe it is important for establishments to understand the sensitivities of their customers and adapt their communication accordingly. Despite the quality of the cuisine, these aspects left us with a mixed impression. In response to your response: I assure you, I did not say thank you, nor goodbye when leaving: like father, like son would say you to me. We preferred to put a headset and a console on him... in the end it's a bit like a leash.

01/04/2024: We based ourselves on the high scores and we took a chance. The food was not really tasty and the portions were modest. The hygiene of the kitchen is rather questionable. The interior was authentic and the elderly man who does everything himself was very friendly. Unfortunately, it was not recommended and certainly not worth repeating.

30/03/2024: amazing. No complaints. The feeling of eating at someone's house; we feel that every part of the experience (even the toilets haha) has been refined over the years. The food is so good and above all authentic, it's like eating what my mother would have prepared. A return to childhood that left me moved, a bit like the critic in ratatouille
