04/12/2025: The staff were amazing, they waited for me until I finished even though they were supposed to close earlier. I'm very grateful to them, and especially to the chef who cooked for me at the last minute, and it was incredibly fast. I'm very satisfied.

27/01/2026: One hour. That's how long we had to wait for a dish that, clearly, spent half that time dying a second time in the kitchen. Receiving a salmon steak as hard and dry as a hiking boot sole is already an insult. But the worst part is the contempt. We were a table of more than 15 people, I pointed out that the dish was inedible, and despite this: no compensation whatsoever. Total indifference to what was, admittedly, a hefty bill. The concept of 'Gourmand' apparently stops at the menu, because what's on the plate is the Gobi Desert. If you're looking for a place to test your patience, go for it. Otherwise, keep walking.

When they deign to attend to their rare passing customer, it takes even longer. No orders taken. Two stars for the head chef who serves robotic, tasteless dishes... 02/02/2026: While staying at a nearby hotel, we found this restaurant with good reviews on Google and decided to give it a try. Our English and French aren't very good, but thanks to the friendly staff, we had the best dining experience of our trip to France. We were also surprised by how delicious the appetizers were, as well as the sauce and frites that accompanied our main course. If we hadn't been so tired from traveling, we would have liked to try other dishes. (The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the price was so reasonable that we had to check with the staff when we paid.) But what impressed us the most was the hospitality of the staff. They're a favorite with local customers, and I was very happy that they treated tourists who aren't very familiar with the restaurant scene in France so well! It's a restaurant that you wouldn't expect to find in France, and I'll be recommending it to the other Japanese tourists we traveled with right away. Thank you to everyone at the restaurant! Merci;)
