16/07/2026: Lovely place, very pleasant staff. But the food is nothing special; it's truly bland despite the use of fresh ingredients and some good ideas. Culinary disappointment.

03/07/2026: I've been eating here since it opened and I've always loved it, but since the staff changed, the service has completely gone downhill. Three days ago, the waitress in the orange t-shirt was incredibly cold. We waited forever for our food (even though we all have hour-long lunch breaks), and when we politely pointed it out, she brushed us off rudely, saying it was normal because the meat was cooked well. But the worst part was that I found a worm in the middle of my plate. I was so disgusted... I told the waiter. Having worked in a kitchen myself, I know that mistakes happen and it wasn't directly his fault. He actually tried to make it right by offering to remake half the steak for me to take away and giving me a free drink. Being an understanding person, I refused everything. I wasn't trying to get a discount or take advantage of the situation. I didn't even shout or make a scene in front of the other customers, out of respect. But then, the final straw came at the checkout. They told me I was getting a "discount" of 2 euros... Frankly, that's incredibly disrespectful. I would have much preferred they offered me nothing at all rather than throw such a paltry discount at me, as if my disgust and loyalty were worth two coins. I just ate half my plate without even knowing what I'd swallowed. I was perfectly polite to them, and this is how they treat me at the end. The food used to be good, but now, between this hygiene issue and the disastrous customer service, I'm done. We urgently need to review your team on duty (except for the lady at the bar, who is not concerned).

27/07/2026: It's still so difficult to find a better Japanese restaurant for us, and it's not for lack of trying, both in the suburbs and in Paris. This is a must-try, offering quality dishes and very pleasant service. I highly recommend it!

10/07/2026: Outrageous! I've been a customer of this restaurant for years... today they refused my order, admittedly smaller than usual, but I didn't think there was a minimum order, especially when you pick it up yourself. I specifically wanted several portions of vinegared rice, and the woman refused, claiming I was trying to "steal her rice recipe." I don't know whether to laugh or cry. They've lost a great customer!

01/02/2026: Hello I received a very warm welcome last night at Chez Vesna restaurant. The food and presentation were exceptional. I had a wonderful evening and felt right at home.

02/07/2026: Their legendary couscous is still as good as ever. We regret the disappearance of the French toast-style brioche from the menu; it was absolutely divine (but perhaps it will return? ;-) ). Update June 2026: This French toast-style brioche is back on the menu and just as generous as ever, yum yum! The dining room is a bit noisy, but we happily return because the prices are very reasonable. While this place is a must-visit in Montreuil, the 5th star will be well-deserved when the tables are cleaner...

02/07/2026: Excellent restaurant! The welcome was perfect, the staff were very pleasant and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from beginning to end, especially the set menu which was very generous and appetizing 😊

21/07/2026: I was craving pizza, so I came here. I received a very warm welcome from the friendly, smiling staff. They made me an excellent pizza, one of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is also very pleasant. It's a great place to come with family and have a good time. I highly recommend it to everyone.
