20/10/2026: Extremely disappointed by the drop in quality. I used to order the banh mi; the bread was good and fresh, there were raw vegetables, and the chicken was tasty. I ordered it a few days ago, and it was a huge disappointment. The bread is no longer the same; it was soaked in sauce, and there were barely any raw vegetables. Clearly, it wasn't a banh mi. I also ordered spring rolls, which had no taste; they were frozen. It's a real shame. This used to be a great place, a reliable choice for a good banh mi. I won't be going back.

05/09/2026: The best Asian takeaway in the neighborhood. The Pho and Bobun are excellent and made to order (too often at other places, the container has been prepared hours ago and reheated in the microwave). Chez Chung supplies several Asian embassies in Paris, and many of their customers are of Asian origin (at the time of writing, I'm the only European here), a testament to their quality, without a doubt. At first glance, it looks like a typical "Chinese" restaurant, but here the dishes are more elaborate, flavorful, and reasonably priced (starter + main course for €11). Everything is homemade with passion. If you have some time, I recommend the à la carte dishes, which are traditional Vietnamese, Indonesian (for true connoisseurs, you'll find nasi goreng ikan asin), and Thai. Pho Bo and Loc Lac (chicken/beef or shrimp) are excellent, and all for under €15. A major advantage, rare in this neighborhood: it's open all day (non-stop service), and what's more, if you arrive and order a dish from the menu (not on the set menu), for example at 4 pm, it will still be cooked fresh and not reheated. You'll love it, you'll come back. PS: Slurping (inhaling the noodles while making a slurping noise...Slurp) is perfectly acceptable here.

23/10/2026: My wife ordered two shrimp phakis for herself and me on Uber Eats (with an extra charge for the shrimp). The result: three shrimp each swimming in a "soup" (= soy sauce) and stir-fried vegetables. Let's just say, if you're on a diet, go for it, otherwise steer clear. Honestly, I think this is the worst Uber Eats experience I've ever had.
