04/04/2026: How could we, who have lived in Loguivy for over 12 years, not know about this place?! The owner is very friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is like something out of the old days—a little café like all the villages in Brittany had 25 years ago. As a result, we've booked ten dinners until August because the restaurant fills up quickly. It's really great!

25/03/2026: I tried the red chicken curry two years ago. I went back for lunch today because I wanted to have that dish again; I thought it was so good. Verdict: it's still delicious. The sauce has that delicate kaffir lime flavor that makes it so flavorful and typically Thai. The rice and vegetables are perfectly cooked and provide a very pleasant textural contrast to the dish. The owner prepares the dishes herself fresh and is super friendly. I wish she would put all her recipes in a cookbook, but I think that's unfortunately not possible.

14/03/2026: Escale Thaï restaurant in Lille is a wonderful discovery for lovers of Thai cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the Pad Thai with shrimp, which was perfectly balanced and very flavorful. The decor, with its bamboo lamps and Asian touches, creates a truly exotic atmosphere. A big thank you to Som, our server, for her warm welcome and helpful advice on the dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant.

14/02/2026: We used to love eating here, but the staff seems to have changed, and tonight's server was quite unprofessional. He was very rushed in taking our order and serving us, spoke rudely to a homeless man who came to ask for food in front of all the other customers, got our order wrong, assured us he hadn't made a mistake when we tried to point it out and send the dish back, and then admitted his error at the time of payment when I mentioned my food intolerance, without offering any compensation. The rest of the team is really lovely; it's a shame the atmosphere is so negative. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, I think it's important to prioritize the customer experience, even during busy periods, and especially when you make a mistake.

23/03/2026: The waiter was polite, friendly, and attentive, which I appreciated. I was asked how I’d like my steak cooked and requested it medium well. However, it was served medium rare instead. While the steak itself was of good quality, it wasn’t prepared as requested, which affected the overall experience.

The dishes were bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned and expertly balanced, truly reminding us of authentic tastes… just like back home. You can feel the respect for the ingredients and the recipes. Special mention for the balanced dishes and the overall quality—it's rare to find such consistency from start to finish. A truly wonderful place that we wholeheartedly recommend. We'll be back.
