08/06/2026: We came as a party of four. We were very disappointed with the food. The vegetables were very tough, the merguez sausage too, and the semolina was very thick. It's really unacceptable. They need to rethink everything, especially since I've been coming here for 15 years and it used to be much better, particularly now with the prices skyrocketing. I won't be returning to this restaurant.

08/06/2026: The interior is beautiful, but that’s about where the positives end. We left underwhelmed. If you eat meat, the menu is thin. There are far more vegan and vegetable options than anything else, and the same goes for dessert. If you just want something simple like ice cream, cookies, or cake, you’re out of luck. Everything is fine-tuned and over-styled. The worst part was the service, which stings more because you pay and tip everything upfront. I asked for water and waited over 10 minutes with no response, even after telling the waiter my 3-year-old daughter was still waiting for hers. No soda refills, just one glass. We saw our waitress exactly once the entire meal. This isn’t a cheap or mid-priced spot. It’s a high-priced restaurant with service that doesn’t come close to matching the price.

They are flavorful, fragrant, delicate, and incredibly fresh. 🫖 A ritual not to be missed The restaurant is open almost every day, and it's become my little routine whenever I'm on this street. 23/05/2026: A very warm welcome, good value for money. Excellent oriental cuisine... Close to Toulon's main market (celebrated by Gilbert Bécaud in his song about the markets of Provence). Plus, the owner is super friendly... We'll be back!

05/07/2026: Definitely recommend this cuisine from Morocco it’s amazing probably the best dinner I’ve had in 3 years by far I had the couscous mairgaise wich was ravasging it came fast and the ambiance was real I felt in another country defenitly recommend.

08/05/2026: I ate today and was frankly disappointed by the tagine; it didn't taste like tagine at all, more like Burgundy than anything else. I absolutely do not recommend this place unless you're looking for anything but Moroccan food.

10/06/2026: It had been a long time since I'd been to this "institution." The Tunisian dishes haven't lost any of their quality or authenticity; they're delicious, but the prices have gone up considerably, and today this restaurant is no longer competitive with the Tunisian restaurants in the 17th arrondissement (Nini or Gabriel), where the ambiance and service are superior, and where (based on experience) you're not charged an extra €6 for a plate of semolina to accompany a €45 Akoud. Next time, I'll stay in the 17th...
