17/03/2024: We had lunch here. We wanted some couscous and the place looked promising. It is therefore very logical that we opted for homemade couscous for me and lamb and beef for Madame.
Good things first. The staff is very friendly and always asks you how you are going even if that doesn't change anything in the service, which is still very modest. The couscous semolina and broth are pretty good.
But…
The prices are very high considering the quality and service. 28 euros for a homemade couscous with a very small portion of vegetables and whose meat accompaniment is limited to skinny, overcooked merguez, overly dry meatballs and a tiny chicken leg. Additionally, for some reason, only one of the available rooms is used. There were too many tables crammed in and the situation made lunch very uncomfortable. We spent our lunch negotiating every elbow move with our neighbors. Of course you are asked if everything is okay but that will not change the situation. And to finish in style, we will wait an hour before being served.
You understand, the place is to be forgotten. In any case, we forgot about it.

17/01/2024: We ate royal couscous. Abundant, well cooked and delicious. Very correct attention and the right price in my opinion. For dessert we tried some sweets from the display, delicious.
14/01/2024: If you feel like eating a hearty couscous and some Tunisian sweets at a good price, don't hesitate.
The royal couscous comes with a variety of cooked meats, plus the sauce with vegetables and chickpeas and a good plate of couscous, for 16.5 euros you end up very satisfied.
And the sweets, if you like Arabic pastries, are very delicious.
The man who served us was very friendly too!

If you are or are passing through the area, I recommend that you stop there.
13/03/2024: DO NOT TAKE THE RESTAURANT TICKET CARD! After a big craving for couscous, we decided to go and fill our bellies with a good couscous. First disappointment: the price. 25€ for a couscous is expensive even if you are in the 17th!!! The dessert may have been sweet, but the bill was salty! It is not written anywhere that the restaurant does not take the restaurant ticket card and obviously we are told this at the end of the meal!

06/04/2024: Very warm welcome, cozy and pleasant setting and atmosphere! The boss and the waitress take great care. Quality and quantity are there. Everything is homemade. Came twice for a Ramadan package, and always very satisfied.

04/04/2024: Very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Overwhelmed server unable to manage a table of 6 people. He actually charged us more than on the menu because according to him, it was the old menu. The food is bland and lacked seasoning. An experience that I will not repeat and that I recommend to anyone. To flee.

Unfriendly waiter not knowing good manners.
We booked there for dinner, they served one person then the others 20 minutes later even though we all had to eat at the same time!!
The bricks supposed to accompany the soup were served a long time later under the pretext that it was Ramadan and the chef was busy breaking his fast!!! The joke !! This is normally the responsibility of the staff and should not hinder service in any way, otherwise they would just have to close the restaurant.
03/03/2024: One of the best couscous in Paris. Said is very welcoming, simple and generous. I go there quite regularly and never disappointed. See you soon
