26/08/2026: I arrived at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, August 26th. The restaurant was closed, but the interior was lit and the fan was running. I waited 10 minutes, then left.

01/08/2026: The pizzas were excellent, especially the traditional one. Thanks to the pizza chef Wass and the super welcoming waitress.

28/07/2026: Strong no. Starting with not fresh dishes. Hair in the stew. Everything was just disgusting. Worst food eaten in France ever.

24/07/2026: Excellent restaurant, quality ingredients and impeccable service. We had brik pastries and couscous and they were really delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant; it offers great value for money.

12/09/2026: Excellent! A warm welcome, a couscous that took me on a journey... Perfectly cooked, tender meat, everything marinated and cooked with love, a little red wine from North Africa... in short, a treat for the taste buds!

08/09/2026: One of the best couscous dishes I've ever eaten, and I've eaten a lot. Ultra-fine semolina, perfectly cooked vegetables, magnificent beef kefta – a real treat.

02/10/2026: An unexpected delight at this eatery. I have never eaten couscous that tasted so good; the vegetables in spicy sauce tasted amazing, and the meat mix was top-notch. On the second plate was a generous portion of côte du boeuf in Roquefort sauce: I rarely come across meat that is so incredibly tender. I found the offer to provide extra vegetables and extra Roquefort sauce very thoughtful (they were so delicious that we had already finished everything). Unfortunately, there was no room left for dessert; that will just have to wait until next time!

26/06/2026: An excellent restaurant in Douai. We had a wonderful time at this establishment, where the welcome was warm and the setting truly unique. The meal was delicious, with perfectly balanced flavors. I particularly enjoyed the chicken, which was tender and beautifully presented on a thoughtfully decorated plate. The service was attentive, especially when the mint tea was served in the traditional way. A great find that I highly recommend.

23/09/2026: Unfortunately, the service was catastrophic. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with contempt based on my appearance, and consequently, no rules of courtesy were observed. Her partner (the cook) even remarked to her, looking astonished, in Arabic: "Don't you like the customer?" I regret not turning around and leaving immediately, as there was absolutely no value for money and a lack of clarity regarding the dishes served. I spoke with her briefly out of kindness, and she eventually showed me respect (it's true that when you can afford to pay, it makes all the difference). LEARN TO RESPECT YOUR CUSTOMERS, MADAM (لا تحتقرين بالعين)

27/08/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant, which serves excellent couscous! We were looking for a table after 9 pm and stumbled upon Le Pacha, whose warm welcome won us over. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, thank you again!

14/09/2026: A pleasant surprise. I ordered couscous quite by chance and I must say I was very satisfied. Generous portions and delicious. I don't understand the 4-star rating here. The chef is very friendly and you can tell he loves what he does and enjoys making his customers happy. Well done to everyone and see you soon!

02/10/2026: Serving canned sardines in a restaurant is quite audacious (we ordered the "spicy sardines"). Also worth noting: the portions are meager and the owner tends to push you to order more. Another detail to add to the list: we asked for a carafe of water, but instead we were brought two simple glasses of water, nothing more.

02/10/2026: Deceptive pricing practice: €15 set menu, but €24.50 at the register. There were five of us, all ordering the same set menu. The owner took our order himself, served us himself, brought a Vittel water (which was advertised as complimentary), added an extra dish we hadn't ordered… and then charged us €24.50 per person. Judging by other reviews, this "surprise" on the bill seems to be a recurring issue. When everything is handled by the owner himself, from ordering to payment, it's hard to claim a mistake. Future customers: don't trust the displayed price. Make sure everything is clarified before ordering. This practice is unacceptable; we will not be returning.

23/05/2026: A very warm welcome, good value for money. Excellent oriental cuisine... Close to Toulon's main market (celebrated by Gilbert Bécaud in his song about the markets of Provence). Plus, the owner is super friendly... We'll be back!
