21/08/2025: Very good fish pot, excellent! Restaurant to recommend with a choice of 6 main dishes which is a bit different from the menus on the street next door with 50 dishes for tourists....

19/01/2025: Sunday afternoon, we sit down for a snack.
The room is almost empty, a few people outside. The table next to us waited a very long time for a coffee!
We wait 15 minutes for our table to finally be cleared. The waitress deigned to give us the cards unfortunately she never came back to take our order!!!!
30 minutes or more to eat nothing
We decide to leave.... The waitress looks at us without reaction.

Sorry for coming to the Auberge du port as a tourist trap! what audacity on our part!
Special mention to the moment when she asked us to leave, something never seen before! (according to her, her tired brigade couldn't manage) I point out that when we sat down we heard "we're coming to take your order"... only 45 minutes later still no one. Honestly, if you're looking for a place to laugh (yellow) or test your patience, this is it. Otherwise, look elsewhere, where the customer is perhaps still somewhat respected.
We give 1 star for the cuisine which we were not able to taste but if it is up to the rest we are not wrong.

02/12/2025: The 3-meat tacos were excellent, no complaints there. However, the only downside was having to pay an extra €5 for fries and a drink; I find that a bit pricey.
29/11/2025: Worst kebab of my life. €13 for a set menu, the manager doesn't even lift a finger to serve, and the sandwiches have no meat at all. Avoid this place!

08/11/2025: Shameful! I made a reservation for my birthday, it was confirmed, so I arrived on time and on the day I booked, only to find the restaurant closed. There were no signs, no posts on their Instagram mentioning the closure, especially since the reservation had been confirmed by email and text message.
Thanks for ruining my birthday!
27/10/2025: I had reserved a table via the website. Reservation confirmed. We showed up on Sunday, October 26th, and what a surprise. It said "closed." I don't know if it's permanently closed.
We had to find another solution.
And to top it all off, this morning I received a message asking how my meal went. It's better to laugh about it...

24/03/2026: Pizza lovers, look elsewhere! This is more of a business than a restaurant that serves Flammekueche. And I'm not exaggerating! I'm telling you the truth: even the ready-made pizzas from Picard are better! The tomato sauce is overly acidic. As for the pieces of ham and mushrooms (regarding the Royale), I seriously doubt their freshness! At the same time, I should have read the reviews before going... However, if you like pizzas with a transparent crust, almost like filo pastry, this is the place for you. So, of course, I expect a pointless response from the owner, but I still want to point out, sir, that we spend money, so as customers, we should expect impeccable quality. Regarding hygiene, I'd rather not elaborate; I think my review already says enough.
11/01/2026: Mama, what is this pizza? You should change jobs, my boy. This thin pizza dares to answer me with a comment from an old man of mine because this gentleman responds to people in a certain way just because he's not good.

17/04/2026: Meh, taking the order from the saleswoman and coming back to sit down, served in plastic "cups" with chocolate on top, whipped cream, Nutella, not even real chocolate, and no water to drink. I've tasted better ice cream in real ice cream containers, the ice cream was nothing special.
15/04/2026: We bought three scoops in a tub.
Chocolate and banana sorbet flavor with blueberry ice cream.
Vanilla, chocolate mint, and melon flavors.
The service was good, with a warm welcome and helpful staff. We were able to sit on the terrace.
We didn't have to wait, but at 5 PM there was a wait.
It's a shame there isn't a sign with the different flavors, because you have to be right next to the tubs to see them, and with the sun, the signs reflect off the signs, or there are people in front of them, so we can't see them clearly.

15/08/2024: Pour cette 2eme fois à Bandol, retour pour un déjeuner à la Caravelle. Le service est cordial et souriant, les mets sont bien préparés et goûteux (testez l'aioli !). Pour un très bon déjeuner, installez vous !
12/08/2024: Un service souriant pour des plats qui pourraient être mieux et surtout avec plus de goût comme pour la daurade de ce soir. Le meli mélo gambas st jacques était mieux!

We had booked for 8:30 p.m., after an hour of driving we arrived ready to spend a great evening... unfortunately what a disappointment: after 30 minutes of waiting we ended up asking for the menus and learning that there was only 1 dish left. available on the 4 offered…
On Saturday of the week of August 15 at 8:30 p.m., this seems incomprehensible. Especially since the waiter confirmed to us that all the tables had been reserved so you just have to learn to count your stocks!
The service is completely lousy too, no drinks and nothing to eat… we preferred to leave the restaurant!
No apology from the staff present, nothing!
18/08/2024: We (4) enjoyed our meal, masterful sea bream very well cooked, prawn pasta, excellent desserts, well chosen rosé wine, on a white tablecloth table, in an idyllic place on Capelan beach, far from the crowds of the port...
Let's hope the chef stays at the end of the season!

15/06/2024: Une adresse incroyable ! On a mangé un filet de bœuf avec un écrasé de pomme de terre à la truffe…le meilleur plat que j’ai eu l’occasion de manger un mariage parfait ! Tout ça pour la maudite somme de 33€ ..! Je recommande et nous reviendrons

Very good breakfast, friendly staff.
The hotel is a little old and therefore quite noisy.
23/09/2024: This hotel could be a gem, great location, shame bathroom to be reviewed including the taps. On the other hand, no luck the 2 nights spent in the hotel with a nauseating smell of sewer, obviously a difficult problem to resolve but the boss could have made a commercial gesture, not even an apology.
