05/11/2024: We came for lunch and were made very welcome. The weekly menu is good and affordable. The outdoor terrace offers a view of the sea while being protected by pine trees.
05/11/2024: We went to lunch at the shelter on November 1st.
Another wonderful family moment in an exceptional setting with impeccable and attentive service.
The cuisine is remarkable considering the price and especially with the lunch formula.
We will come back for an end-of-day aperitif as well as for another lunch.

04/01/2025: We only ate there so I can't say anything about the hotel room. But the food was extremely expensive and as a chef I expect something different for the money. Stagetti integral for €28 is a disgrace. Tasted like pesto from a jar from Aldi. Tagliatelle ragu for 35€, didn't taste bad but I could have eaten 3-4 portions of both dishes. I found it disappointing. 1 large beer (Moretti) 50cl = 14€. Costs €1.65 when purchased online. Everyone should earn something, but that's cheeky. Although you can hardly get anything in the area for less than €7.50 - €9 in restaurants.

26/10/2025: Regularly traveling, very beautiful places and very good staff ready to help, it's a shame that people booking through some site or other allow themselves to come at such a late hour, a herd would have made less noise than them.
With a dog, which is forbidden in this establishment, making it bark in the stairs while people are sleeping. But these people know better than others, not accepting any comments and not listening to what we tell them. Their car was impounded and yes, it's forbidden to park in the square on market day. So yes, if the owner complains sometimes, it's not for nothing. You need to know the whole story behind certain reviews. With pleasure. J. Luc

08/07/2025: We've been coming to this restaurant for years before going to the beach, and the experience is always excellent.
The best pizzas I've eaten in my 30s. The service is always top-notch, with lovely and friendly owners. The roasted half chicken and roast ham are equally delicious, with excellent homemade fries.
Don't change a thing; everything is perfect.

08/12/2024: Without hesitation, it's one of the bakeries in my village and that's where I get my baguette, the cakes and chocolate are
also of very good quality, parking is adequate....
31/10/2024: We always look forward to the baguette before we arrive (of course ONLY the traditional one with the longer dough time). Sometimes I have to take a bite in the car and realize ruefully that we Germans can eat brown bread but can't come close to France when it comes to baguettes. And at these prices! Danish is good too. Particles anyway. You have to try Amandine.
Anyone who complains here is spoiled. We love the Palmiers.

Very friendly team, sorry to read some discontent which I think is unjustified, very exaggerated or coming from the competition... it's the unfortunate game! That said, everything is exquisite when it comes to the takeaway pizzas that we have been taking for years for ourselves and/or our guests, we are always delighted, thank you for this little corner of the Valmer cross.
26/09/2024: Apart from the young waiter who was ok, the rest was disappointing.
Anchovy cheese pizza: I have never eaten a pizza like this... the dough which is absolutely not pizza dough... 2 mm thick, no taste, dry and which shattered as soon as you stabbed in it... the super salty anchovies which made me drink all night... no olives... my goodness!
Wok with prawns: prawns that looked more like shrimp than anything else... very salty... we left more than half of the dish.
Beef tartare: horrible is the word from my friend who had the courage to taste this.
Crème brûlée: no flavor... foul.
Café Liège: a ton of whipped cream to hide the misery.
The owner glared at us when we told the young waiter that it was not good at all.
In short, TO AVOID.

10/10/2023: Sehr schön eingerichtetes Restaurant mit toller Aussicht auf die Inseln Porquerolles und leckerem französischen Abendessen (Tartare mit Beef und Trüffel) bei schöner Hintergrundmusik. Preis-/Leistung ist in Ordnung.

Waiter forced by his boss to *not serve water* to customers. As a reminder, this practice (unfortunately common) is contrary to the regulations of a liquor store. At the same time, I witnessed, astounded, the violent and aggressive behavior of the manager grumbling at a customer who needed a glass of water for her medication that he was "there to sell". Unsurprisingly given his attitude, he proudly stood out for his sexist remarks and general disdain. Hoping that this individual is not more in contact with customers. Ashamed.
