And honestly, they did a great job.
A very warm welcome.
Delicious food.
A very reasonable wait time.
And the prices were just as good.
I highly recommend it! 😋
16/02/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance, and what a delight it was! The food is excellent, perfectly balanced in flavor and generous to boot. The service is also very pleasant, with a big smile throughout and a charming hint of an accent. Don't miss it, and be sure to make a reservation!

It's December, but despite the cold outside, the restaurant was nice and warm thanks to the wood-fired pizza oven. The chocolate mousse for dessert was divine and very generous. Very reasonable price. Impeccable service. A great find.

02/03/2026: We've known Simple Simon for a very long time, more than 20 years for sure, and we've had softer Pear cakes... They were caramelized if I'm not mistaken. Therefore, this was somewhat disappointing.
26/02/2026: I’m sorry to say the food made my wife and I feel awful. Also, the wait was insane at a time when the restaurant wasn’t busy. I don’t like to complain but I am literally sick to my stomach.

14/03/2026: Beautifully decorated, with a very calm and romantic atmosphere and soft lighting (perfect for a couple). Three different table heights: standard, high, or low (with very comfortable armchairs), the concept is lovely. The waiter was very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent and plentiful; we really wanted to try the desserts but were full! A great place to eat in Avignon!
