31/03/2024: Mixed review for La Géromoise.
After being recommended by the receptionist at the Hotel de la P., located less than 200 meters away, we were eager to discover this restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The Vosges plate and carbonade looked promising on the menu, but the reality fell well short of our expectations. The Morteau sausage was non-existent, the salad seemed to come from a bag and the carbonade was flavorless. Even the fries seemed to have been overcooked. The waitresses did their best to compensate, but it wasn't enough to cover up the kitchen's shortcomings.
Additionally, our table was poorly placed, between the changing room and the toilets, which affected our experience.
Furthermore, I wonder if the cook is satisfied when he sends this type of dish to the dining room.
Increased attention to food quality and presentation could certainly improve the overall experience for customers. I would recommend the hotel receptionist to avoid recommending this restaurant.

31/03/2024: Very unpleasant waitress, both with her customers and her colleagues.
Not at all accommodating, impossible to serve a tray of fries for a child of two even though they are on the menu.
Huge shredded donut not cooked inside.
Nothing to do with the previous comments, has there been a change of ownership?
I strongly advise against this hostel.
18/03/2024: We had a pleasant time in this restaurant.
Super friendly waiter, attentive service and super good meal!
If we pass through the area we will definitely come back!

03/04/2024: Everything was top notch, the welcome, the decor, the dishes (a black Swan, a Vosges salad and lemon tiramisu), we had a great time!
01/04/2024: Everything was very good.
I have a small caveat on the cooking of the meat. Cooking is not requested when ordering and the steaks are a little overcooked. Too bad because the meat seemed to me to be of good quality.
For the rest it's very good.
Good toppings, good bread and good beer.

25/03/2024: Great welcome in general during a meal with friends this Saturday. We have eaten well. but the real plus was being served by Émile... and his good humor. We had a great time.

04/04/2024: Good restaurant overall, but seems expensive for the services. Little bread, barely lukewarm dishes. The prices are high average without really being justified in terms of cuisine. The decor is nice and the staff attentive.
01/04/2024: We came on Easter Sunday as a family. Everything started well, aperitif and starters served quickly and quite good.
Unfortunately it went badly wrong. After more than 2 hours of waiting for our food we decided to leave without eating. Another table did the same thing as us, and many others were getting impatient as well.

30/03/2024: We were received as if we were missing out...plus the food offered was really not up to par.
The exterior on the lake side is just superb, however when you arrive you are in a courtyard with cars destined for scrapping and a French booldog guy who attacks you...
So, we won't come back to it.
22/03/2024: On a beautiful sunny day, having a snack by the lake is a real pleasure! The crepes were delicious and the service was quick.

01/04/2024: We had a really lovely time. The hotel is magnificent, decorated with great taste in a charming, mountain style and very warm. The cuisine is divine, small dishes carefully concocted with delicacy. The breakfast is varied and the products offered in the buffet are really of very good quality. The staff is very friendly and pleasant whether in the restaurant, at the reception or at the spa. The spa is really the strong point of this magnificent place (personal opinion) it was a real moment of relaxation and pleasure. I thank all the staff for everything. We will come back as soon as possible.
30/03/2024: Magnificent find halfway between La Bresse and Gérardmer.
Everything was absolutely fabulous: the friendliness of the staff, the rooms, the spa, the breakfast and the hotel in general!!
And all this in a very calm setting (the hotel has barely 33 rooms).
Absolutely no negative points to note for this establishment which is a real gem.
We will come back, for sure 👍

We ate very, very well (special mention for the Vosges fondue), the desserts were also exquisite, in a warm setting, the decor is very nice, top service, smiling waiters and excellent dishes. We found a very attentive team, it is certain that when we come back to Gerardmer we will come back to see you :)
28/03/2024: Very well decorated and very pleasant restaurant, with a large terrace on the street. We had the lunch menu: perfect in terms of quantity and quality. That day, it was raw vegetable salad/chicken in cream and mustard with fries and green beans/chocolate mousse or apple pie.
Very friendly waitress.
I recommend.

23/03/2024: A warm welcome in an original place in the high mountains: an old sawmill with the equipment still in place. Below a stream, around, the mountain and fields currently with daffodils.
A family atmosphere. A nice menu with “homemade” products. A special mention for the salted butter caramel coulis which decorates certain pancakes and which can be found to take away.
A good price-performance ratio.
To discover ! Possibility of stopping to eat a pancake or a slice of pie during a walk. We passed too briefly. We will come back !

Only regret: we would have liked a little madness and surprise. Everything is very classic.
23/03/2024: First of all, we find ourselves in magnificent and very well maintained rooms. The tables are just far enough apart to have a little privacy, but not too far apart either, which helps produce a good atmosphere.
For my fourth visit, I am still pleasantly surprised by the contents of the plates from appetizers to dessert.
The service is friendly and relaxed without lacking in professionalism. We feel very comfortable and we never lack anything without the service being too intrusive.
The dishes are served at the right pace.
Once again flawless from a gastronomic point of view as well as from a human point of view
